Pulis is a stubbon old git so things like this won't make a blind bit of difference. Its quite bizzare over the years how stoke fans have loved players who run their bollocks off for the club with no end product.
Russell, Cooke, James O'conner etc etc etc etc yet when we get one who does that with the benefit of talent some just don't appreciate it.
Tuncay is one of the most talented players to play for Stoke and its quite shockng how the manager puts personal agendas ahead of stoke to drive him away

Signed. Like many others I regard Tunny as the most skillful and creative player that we currently have at the club. I think it's a disgrace that he rarely plays particularly given the quality of some of the donkeys that are ahead of him in the pecking order. TP is the manager and is paid to manage but if you're not going to play him why fucking buy him?

Can't remember the last time I felt as against a player leaving as I do with Tuncay.
Possibly Peter Thorne.
For fuxache Pulis, don't ship him out just to prove a frigging point! Couldn't you tell from the crowds reaction last week how much he means to a large proportion of the fans? You know them fuckers that work their nads off all week to pay your wages?
Signed, please keep him.

In what sense is he supposed to be our best or our most creative player, moreso than Ricardo Fuller or Matthew Etherington?
For what it's worth, if I was going to make a list of our best/most important players, it would go something like:
Fuller Shawcross Etherington Jones Huth
and possibly even putting Delap in before getting anywhere near Tuncay. I'm really not getting the fuss at all.

Once more, though, that's not a criticism of Tuncay. I don't dislike him, you can't help but love him when he's really on form and he is capable of turning a game but he is desperately over-rated and really hasn't done anything to be labelled as our best player or our most creative. I know football's about opinions but I really am at a loss as to how anybody could come to that conclusion, especially having watched Ricardo Fuller or Ryan Shawcross for the past few years.
EDIT: I certainly can't see the sense in swapping him for Jerome or Rodallega either. All we do is swap one player who plays in Fuller's position (sort of) but isn't as good for another player who plays in Fuller's position but isn't as good. We get the exact same situation that we had last season, where we end up wasting a few months of the season by experimenting without Fuller and then have a player unhappily sitting on the bench. Just seems like a like-for-like swap to me.

Don't make me laugh, apart from a long throw (which recently has been no where near the weapon it was in our 1st season) what does Rory bring to our team? When Tuncay plays he shows ambition, he shows desire to get the ball and to create a chance, he lifts the crowd and not many of our players can do that at the moment...so tell me MD, why Delap before Tuncay?

What about a petition about the increasing number of idiot supporters on here who think they know better than TP
I notice that all the knobheads who were slating Walters and were quite happy to tell all and sundry that he was 'no better of different to Liam Lawrence' have gone a bit quiet over the past week!!
A petition - FFS what a bunch of jokers !!!

You seem to have been rather offended by me suggesting that a player in our squad may be better than Tuncay. Delap is still our best central midfielder by a country mile. He's not the greatest player on the ball, but his ability to read the game really is beyond reproach. You watch every time the opposition break, Delap is the player who spots the opposition's biggest threat and takes him out of the attack before the ball goes near him. He is absolutely superb at that job and there is nobody in our squad who comes close him at it. Add to that his incredible stamina, his leadership skills and yes, the long throw, and you've got a terrifically important player. The most under-rated player in the squad by a long, long way.
