I put some stars on the title to make it look official but seriously if any of you feel as strongly as I do about Tunny's seemingly certain ousting then we have a democratic right to show how we feel and a decent number putting their names to this and then whizing it off to PC will at least let them know that Tuncay is a fans favourite and many are unhappy. If of course this fails miserably then my only other plan is to chain myself to the fender of PC's car.I am reluctant to do this. Some on guys and gals lets at least show the Turk we are behind him. Dont do eeet TP ! Admin can you pin this?...please

I'm afraid it's becoming obvious that a vote for Sanli is a vote against Pulis.

So, if we got offered £20 million - we shouldn't take it?
So, if we got offered a awap deal for a top class playmaker and a top class winger in exchange for Tuncay and cash - we shouldn't take it?
I'm not saying either of those things are going to happen but EVERY player has his price at EVERY club - and it has been that way since football became a professional game.
The manager's job is to manage the club to push it up the league, preferably without losing too much money and a profit would be nice.
Criticise Pulis for what he has done after he does it if you wish but don't try to tell him what to do. If he listened to criticism before the event he would not have bought Walters!

With Mama seemingly out for a long while i hope we keep Tuncay and give him a proper run in the team at least up to the xmas window and then make a decision after giving him a decent run

Is it just me or does anyone else not get this Tuncay is brilliant thing?
Tuncay is a very busy player, he's always on the move and looks quite exciting but when I've watched him closely he doesn't seem this world beater people make him out to be.
He misses an awful lot of chances in front of goal, he could of and should of scored 6 goals in the last 2 games. That stat is repeated over the games he's played.
As I've said it might be me but I don't see that much substance and end product to the effort put in.

They are totally different types of player. We'll probably bring in a replacement for Mama as second choice target man as, of course, KJ's arrival has pushed Mama down the pecking order. If Tuncay goes then no doubt we'll bring in a replacement for him. As it happens I hope we keep Tuncay at least until Christmas because I want to see how he plays with KJ but, like Mark says above, he actually isn't prolific as a goal scorer and I'm sure there may be better out there. The Mama situation has absolutely no bearing on the situation.

The way people go on about him on here they think he should be playing for Barcelona!

A petition wouldn't make blind bit of difference to the current scenario with our manager and the aforementioned player.
We've basically messed up on a player who would have been a Stoke City legend had we handled him in the correct manner. He was fit enough to start much earlier on in the season than he did last season and was used sparingly in games and managed poorly.
If only Tony Pulis could see what Tuncay could offer this team if we were to build players around him i.e a proper central midfielder and two out and out full backs then we'd have no situation at present.
Instead of us selling him, wasting money on someone like Rodellega as his replacement, we should be spending the money on evolving our style of play i.e two midfielders, two fullbacks and then judge our strikers performances afterwards.
I'll be gutted when Tuncay moves as I think he's a quality, hard working player who fits exactly into our work ethic. If only he was given a chance over ten games to prove this...

A petition - Yeah lets try to undermine the 2nd Best Manager we have ever had eh? FF Charlton Athletic ? ??? 2nd best manager we've had. What about the manager who was one win from winning the old First Division, which we would of done if Stan hadn't a gone. Bob McGrory, I know he was the main reason Stan left but he couldn't of been that bad.

Awful but scored a goal and we won the game by one goal????
Idiots.
He's a quality player with an attitude on the pitch that matches every Stoke fans ethics of hard work, commitment and never say die. To add to that he is arguably the most skillful player at the club and chips in with his fair share of goals (when he's played that is)

As I've said it might be me but I don't see that much substance and end product to the effort put in. This. I thought it must only have been me who isn't fussed either way about whether or not Tuncay stays. For some reason, some posters have it in their head that just as they hate certain players for representing our long ball game (Higginbotham, Sidibe etc), Tuncay was supposed to herald in some new era of Barcelona uber-football. This is despite Tuncay being pretty much everything you've just described, as well as not having a natural position and not fitting into our formation. Regardless, they get pretty precious about all things concerning him, especially if he isn't made the centre-piece of our team, making the whole situation rather bizarre. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike him, when he tries to he can turn a game, but he'd be no loss. Anyway, I've maintained throughout this window that he won't be sold and I still don't think he will.

I'm assuming the OP is tongue in cheek? Do you really think that Pulis and Coates don't know already that Tuncay is a fans favourite? I'll guess from your location that you haven't been to many games where Tuncay has been on the bench and his name has been chanted by the crowd urging TP to bring him on. And the applause he gets when he gets on the field.
Of course they know it would be a very unpopular move to get rid of him.
Petition FFS.
MD - I agree - I don't think they'll sell him either. I just don't know where all this hysteria about him being half way out the door has come from. The fact that he started last night and has featured in both our league games last night makes me think TP still wants him in the squad.

My personal view is that we would be mental to sell him when we are so short of creative players. TP is the gaffer and it's his shout but I would hope by now he has the sense to see that Tuncay can provide some of the flair we need to create chances for the team.
On Saturday our possession rocketed once he came on and after he went off last night we couldn't keep the ball.
I'm not saying he is world class but he is a good player and talent wise one of the best we have.
I'll support TP in his decision if he decides to dump Tunny but it doesn't mean I'll agree with it.
