I really dont see whats wrong with supporters who actaully invest money in the club having a focal point to ait their contempt for a very important decision to sell one of our better players. As least we might get an explanation.

There is no point. TP is the manager, TP will sell him if he wants to, end of. Im not 100% sure that he will sold but if i had to put my mortgage on it one way or the other id bet on him being sold. To be honest, im not that bothered. He's alright, some days he comes on and looks brilliant. But lets be honest, he had 2 good games last season to my knowledge, the rest of the time he was average and missed loads of chances. This season; he was OK last night (we were playing Shrewsbury though), he was v.good when he came on at Spurs and he was rubbish when he came on against Wolves. And there is what he is, inconsistent. I agree with posters above who say that people are whipping themselves up into some strange hysteria about selling him. He is better than some but then he isn't as good as some either. I think for quite a few (though not all) it is more of a weapon to moan about Pulis than it is a love-in for Tuncay. Another thing to consider is, if we sell him we'll 99% certainly be replacing him, so its not as if we'll be left with nobody. And obviously no matter who we buy some on here will say 'he's not as good as Tuncay' but lets just see what happens eh? I suppose we'll find out anyway

As least we might get an explanation. Lets face it, you could come up with a perfectly good list of reasons of why we had sold Tuncay had the sale not come off. No explanation is really needed, it's all self evident (by which I don't mean 'Tony Pulis has a grudge against Tuncay and it's all a big conspiracy). But like I say, we won't sell him and I don't really want to see him go either.

don't think a vote for Tuncay is a vote against Pulis, I want Pulis to stay, but I think selling Tuncay would be a huge mistake. Don't see any reason why fans shouldn't make their feelings known. Signed.

If Pulis wants to get rid and bring in another fresh face then sell him and support the decision and new player. However, if Pulis wants to keep Tuncay, support his decision and support Tuncay !!! Don't go around like a spoilt little baby and try and form a pe TITion to force the MANAGER of our football clubs hand. You are acting like Begovic FFS,grow up,by the way, take the fucking blinkers off...... TUNCAY IS NOT THAT GOOD FFS ( But will get my full support until he stops wearing the red n white )

Good player (not great) who is not happy, has a questionable attitude and is clearly not part of Tone's plans.
Given the position I see no option but to sell.

I dont want tuncay to go or the manager. If the manager cant see what flair, skill & options tuncay brings to this team then we have got a big problem. Teams cant just play rigid football formations in the premier league all the time, you need that bit extra movement to catch teams out. Tuncay can provide that, nobody else in the team can. For TP to sell tuncay would be a backwards step for our club, tuncay has shown all pre season and the games so far that he cares for the club & has put in some good displays. Cant believe TP wants to sell

Busy player, had a good pre-season, scored last night, Turkish full international and captain.
Simply needs decent support from a manager with a forward thinking, footballing mind - which the club hasn't got.
He has to stay. If he goes it sends adverse signals to quality players out there.

since when has pulis give a shit what the fans think. EXACTLY! I'd sign a petition against his not being forced out - which is actually what's happening. As for merely being sold; well, if it benefits both the player and the club, I'd have to reluctantly agree with it.

Is it just me or does anyone else not get this Tuncay is brilliant thing? Tuncay is a very busy player, he's always on the move and looks quite exciting but when I've watched him closely he doesn't seem this world beater people make him out to be. He misses an awful lot of chances in front of goal, he could of and should of scored 6 goals in the last 2 games. That stat is repeated over the games he's played. As I've said it might be me but I don't see that much substance and end product to the effort put in. I think you're completely missing the point Mark. He sprints to put the ball down for somebody else to take a corner, he runs off in a tantrum if he doesn't get his own way which is an added bonus, he attempts 50 overhead kicks a season with the odd one actually heading towards goal and he scored a hat trick against Man Utd a mere 6 years ago. What more do you want?

We were on top of them from the first kick of the second half, before he came on. Tuncay did well, but he didn't actually change the game. He also missed some absolute sitters.

I thought it must only have been me who isn't fussed either way about whether or not Tuncay stays. For some reason, some posters have it in their head that just as they hate certain players for representing our long ball game (Higginbotham, Sidibe etc), Tuncay was supposed to herald in some new era of Barcelona uber-football. This is despite Tuncay being pretty much everything you've just described, as well as not having a natural position and not fitting into our formation. Regardless, they get pretty precious about all things concerning him, especially if he isn't made the centre-piece of our team, making the whole situation rather bizarre. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike him, when he tries to he can turn a game, but he'd be no loss. Anyway, I've maintained throughout this window that he won't be sold and I still don't think he will. Both these quotes some it up. Get rid

I think I'll just let the manager run the team and sign/sell whoever he sees fit. He's just about the most successful manager at this club since Waddington and has totally transformed a club that had become a joke. What do we want? Supporters to have a say on how the manager conducts his business? It's a fucking joke! If Pulis sells him, he'll be history in weeks like thousands before him and thousands still to come. Just let the manager get on with his job, a job he has done with almost unqualified success.
Fuck knows just how suicidal some would be if we weren't going through the most successful period of our recent history.
By the way: Nothing wrong with supporters making their feelings known and expressing their views on a Forum like this. We all have opinions and it's human to want to discuss these matters but as for petitions etc to tell the manager how wrong he is - do me a favour.
