Born in Mansfield, Mum, Dad, Grandparents both sides and all relations are/were(R.I.P.) Stokies. Brought up on after match inquest, F.A. Cup runs and top flight football, seventies style. Spent most of my time watching failure after failure throughout the eighties and nineties.
Have lived on the Fylde coast for many, many years (save 3/4 years 'studying' at Staffordshire Uni, Beaconsfield Campus - does anyone know if Brooke and Binyon Courts got demolished as I believe they were condemned when we were stuck in them in 1991/92???) but my heart and soul has and always will be with Stoke City. Match days are a nightmare spent trying to take my mind off the match itself whilst carrying out family chores/days out/arguments (wouldn't swap any of that for the world, though, not even Stoke)!!!
Occasionally, I get to the odd game but let any of you think I don't go through the pain and pleasure of being a Stokie because I do. Every match, week in, week out. Ask the wife!!!

Born in Leyland near Preston. My dad was brought up in Stone. When I was 7 (1973) my dad took me to my first game at Preston. He said there was to much fighting, so he said he would take me to Stoke instead!! The irony in that decision still makes me smile to this day??

From East Yorkshire!! Born and bred here, but brought up properly by my dad. He's from Goldenhill originally, and moved to West Yorkshire first. His dad, my grandad, left work in the Potteries to help set up a small Pottery in Ferrybridge, then he moved on to work at Hornsea Pottery on the East coast. Thats how this satellite supporters club was born.
Dad supported the Potters all his life, I have too, first game 1985, at Hull City, now my wife is more passionate for Stoke City than I could ever have imagined. Not as much as me of course!

Hi Colonel, yes Stoke toured Tanzania in the 90's and easily beat Simba (one of the country's biggest teams) Funnily enough, my Dad went back out there at the end of his career (malaria research) but couldn't make it to any of the games. p.s - did you get to visit Muheza, Amani or Tanga? No I didn't Ant. It was a weird trip. I booked it, then got really ill before I went and was pretty unadventurous when I was there. I have a mate who has a kid with a local lass and who was living in Sinza, which is a suburb of Dar and so pretty much spent 3 weeks living a local life. Quite a mad experience. Only excursion was to zanzibar. Spent a fair bit of my time trying to convert locals to the way of the Stoke like some kind of sadistic missionary but they are all big 4 brainwashed. (even next doors dog was called arsenal) Support from Islington. Born in Longton..
