I hope that Aaron Ramsay can see it in his heart to state that you were not wholly responsible for his terrible injury. We can all see on replays that this was a 50-50 ball challenge. I sincerely hope that you can both put this incident behind you in due course and get on with your profession in the honest game of football. Good luck on Wednesday and for the future, and, if, and when you get the chance to speak to Aaron Ramsay, do let him know that 99.9% of all stokies wish him a very full and very speedy recovery from his injury.

Ryan,
Well done on getting in the England team. Fully deserved and i'm sure that one day you will lead the country because you're a very talented player.
With regards to Saturdays incident it was obvious to myself and most rational people that it was just an accident. You, as ever, went in hard but fair and as always committed. You will bounce back from this because you have the support of your team mates, your friends, your family, us the fans and most importantly the backing of TP. Don't change big man and keep up the excellent work because you will surely be on your way to South Africa this summer if you do so!

Ryan, If ever you read these messages, note how quickly they have accumulated and know that we are all 100% behind you. A fair and honest challenge with an unlucky injury for the other player. PLEASE don't change a thing about the way you approach the game and any future tackles. You are awesome and have a great future ahead.
Have a great game with England and good luck in South Africa!!

Ryan, your family, friends, team mates and us the supporters are so proud of you. Most of all I hope you feel proud of your achievement in getting in to the England squad. You are a credit to all of the people I've mentioned. Your reaction to Aaron Ramsey's injury showed us your ability as a footballer is matched by your character. Good luck on Wednesday, the rest of the season, the World Cup and the rest of your career!

Just a word of support for Shawcross, think he's one of your best players, honest, hardworking and fair. As you can see, I'm not a Stokie, but a Pompey fan (we all have our crosses to bear), however my wife is a Stokie living down south with a season ticket. So I've been pulled along to more of your games, thans been good for me. In all these games I've been impressed with Shawcross, not at all dirty. As for the Ramsey tackle, I just think both players were travelling 100mph for that ball, it was 50/50 and Ramsey was unlucky. I don't even think it was a red card, but in the circumstances I can understand why the ref gave it. Not saying the ref was right, but I understand. It also saved Shawcross from any retribution that would have been dished out. I am very pleased that he has been called up to te England squad. I think AW was out of line in his comments after the match, but he was upset and therefore should be given time to reflect and make another statement latter, but I wouldn't expect an apology. I hope Ramsey can pick up his career after the injury, as he is one of the rising stars of British football, he played well against us in the Cup Final and have been impressed with him ever since. Best of luck to both lads.

Ryan, this is my first post but I felt I had to respond to all the threads on here. We all know that you never meant to injury anyone on Saturday, all the video evidence will prove that! You fully deserve your England call up and we will all be watching on Wednesday night to see if you can prove all the doubters wrong. Good luck and keep your chin up.

we could all see from your reaction that you are a decent caring human being and i would like to say that statistically someone somewhere is going to get an injury like that sooner or later which I'm sure you are aware of . Its not very nice but it is actually unavoidable. You are a great player.

I feel it's Wenger that's going to need the support if he maintains that Ryan's challenge was horrendous because in my opinion Ramsays leg had snapped either upon him making contact with the ball or a millisecond after it hit the turf. I must admit it looks like Ryan had snapped his leg because his foot looked as though it did indeed but i do believe his leg had snapped a millisecond or whatever prior to this.
Could be wrong and i apologise whole hearedly if i am wrong.
