Folks, Before we open initial discussions with the club regarding season ticket prices for next season the Fans' Forum has produced a survey asking for your thoughts on pricing There are 4 simple questions we would appreciate you taking the time to answer which should take no more than two minutes The more responses we get, the better There is also a section to raise other queries about any other aspect of the club you wish to. If you require a personal response from the Fans' Forum then please add your email address in the relevant box Fans' Forum Season Ticket SurveyThanks very much Gareth

Hey Gaz,
I'm not a season ticket holder as i cannot afford one and do not get to enough games to warrant one, being a student means sacrifices.
Could you please suggest to the club that they have an under 21/student price for buying tickets per match rather than only have this option just for season tickets.
Thanks,
Olly.

I reckon a Student price band would be beneficial for people like myself and stokemaro because we're nothing short of skint. The way to get the discount could be to provide your NUS Card or proof of what Uni you're at so it prevents people taking the piss

although im not a student i do no someone whos at manchester uni and can get cheap tickets for man city i belive like the cup tie against us was only 10pound for him and with their being keele and staffs uni close by it would be a good idea considering we havent sold out our home end quite abit this season although we have bein close

I'll be at Manchester Met Uni in September and I'd much prefer Stoke (my true home team) to give me a student discount instead of getting cheap tickets for Man City or Man Utd

NUS Cards yep It'd give me a massive incentive to come home at weekends as well if Stoke could do that and I'm sure more Stokie students from around the country would too

Dunnit. I hope as many as possible will give the FF some feedback on this. I've said that I think a price freeze is justified in current economic circumstances. And I've also voted for a 17-21 matchday ticket. Student tickets are a bit too restrictive as it would mean that an 18 year old at Uni would get a cheaper ticket than an 18 year old still at school. I do accept that it would mean some sort of proof of age being produced.

What is the John Smiths upper (premium) as opposed to just the John Smiths upper?

What is the John Smiths upper (premium) as opposed to just the John Smiths upper? The premium seats are the ones on or near the half way line. The Premium is payable only for the first season you have that seat.

In my opinion they should look at giving away free tickets for the first two rounds of the league cup should they be home games as an incentive, after all no fcuker goes to them anyway.

When i was a lad i was at day release to Stoke-on-trent college whilst in full time employment and on a decent wage but i also qualified for a student card could this be a legitimate abuse of the system?

Happy to help. The pricing of cup games is very questionable.

As i said on the form tickets should rise with inflation : which is 3.5% , so thats a £10 on an adult boothen ticket

The under 14 ticket prices should be made for the entire stadium and not just the family stand.... i argued this last year as i was renewing mine and my daughters season ticket last year for my usually seats .....to find out i had to buy an U16 ticket for my daughter as you can only buy U14 in the family stand. My daughter is 12 now and i explained that the club would be financially better off if i stayed in my seats i have had for several seasons as this would cost more ..... moving me to the family stand would mean both mine and my daughters tickets would be chaeper. I want to keep my own seats i have now.
In addition please please please ask them to introduce an away system that works better than the old fashioned way we are doing it at the moment. Other clubs have loyalty point system, away season ticket vouchers!!
Cheers mucka

I think the club is very close to the limit on prices now - both season ticket and matchday.
They need to maintain support levels; an increase in price will not achieve this.
The club also needs to be more realistic in the pricing of cup matches - selling 23,000 tickets for FA Cup matches is not easy when it is £22 or £25. Much easier selling for league matches when there is only a few thousand available.
