Whatever the reason behind the accident, and whoevers fault it is. It's very sad news.
Some times horse play gets a bit out of hand and accidents might happen.
This is a tragic, tragic accident and my thoughts and consolences are with the mans family and friends and this tragic time!
RIP

R.I.P fella. No one deserves this. Although we dont know the ins and outs, no one should have their last trip to a football match.

Very very sad news.
RIP fella - as many have said, the family need to be in our thoughts. This shouldnt happen and helps to make me think that I dont have things that bad - puts my situations that piss me off into perspective and keeps my feet on the ground.

Truly shocking that a fan can't watch a game of football without some arsehole doing something like this. My thoughts go out to his family, friends, and the majority of decent Blackburn fans. I remember how as a Stokie I felt when it looked bad for one of our own.
I only hope that, if as reported, they have their 'man', that the vile oik is subjected to the full force of the law, and that he sees for himself how big a man he is when he is blarting into his prison pillow.
I bet he's logjammed now, shitting himself, all for the want of showing off and playing the big 'I am'. Complete and utter cuntslap.
RIP Blackburn fan.

RIP fella
And can we Stokies not forget the loss of one of our fans. It must be painfull for both sets of families.
Firstly for the Blackburn loss and secondly opening still no where near healed wounds to the family in Alsager Bank.

RIP my friend.
Little message for the fat little stumpy fellow pushing women and children out of the way on the steps in block 34 yesterday, as I said to you, accidents are caused by irresponsible people like you.

I cant help thinking that the Police/stewards/Stoke are culpable for this. Since Manure fans started throwing stuff around and generally rioting in that concourse last year it seems to be common place for this type of activity to be allowed to continue.
If it was nipped in the bud this probably wouldnt have happened.
You dont see Stoke fans doing this at away games and you can bet if we did it would be national news.
Terrible thing to happen. RIP mate

RIP fellow football supporter, what a sad, sad day. I was talking with my father in law about the old days and he remembers someone threw a bottle on the terrace and the fans collared him and handed him to the coppers. what happened to that attitude? nowadays he would have a posse guarding him from the coppers and stewards. As said elsewhere no-one should go to a match and not expect to go home. perhaps all the beer throwing dickheads down in our concourses should realise that it could have so easily have been one of them that ended up dead or in the cells. ps I stopped measuring my dick years ago.
