He's intelligent enough to play with anyone, it's just making sure that we have a side on the field who match him. Intelligent players with good movement and touches are the key, which is why Ethers, Liam and Whelan should be behind Tuncay and Fuller. Stoke hit Fuller in the channels as much as possible, or work it down the wings with Ethers or Liam...that's when we are at our best under Pulis. The key is, can Tuncay win a header on goal from a cross from any of those players...as that's our normal end result. Beattie can, and plays. Kitson can't and doesn't. Mama can, can't score and still plays...manager's love child?! If he's so intelligent, then why can't he speak English after spending years in the country? Ask Mama. But not in English. Stupid post.

march you have an amazing ability to wind fellow posters up... i dont know how you do it! bet your a laugh a minute down your local... although it could be said mr coates graciously allowed over £12 million pounds to be spent on the first 3 names on your list - i'm sure he would like to see why he was persuaded to spend his money occassionally - or we might just find the war chest is firmly closed come january - theres no point having a multi million pound reserve team. Its all natural talent, although I don't know why it winds anyone up when I only support our club and the second best manager in our history. What the Pompey away game showed is that we can't overdo the flair players. We need a balance between flair and solidity. I know some of you think TP overdoes the solidity, but the results suggest otherwise.

When Pulis complains that targets don't want to come, how do you think the handling of Tuncay has helped? He's creating the conditions for his own excuses in January.

I wish TP would play him, then we could judge one way or another how good he is, at the moment nobody knows, we've not seen enough of him for a long enough period to judge, having said that I'm confident when he gets his chance he will prove his worth, what I will say is i don't think by playing on the right instead of delap would have bee suicidal, delap might as well be invisible when he plays out wide.

he's the new Patrik Berger.
TP hadn't a clue what to do with Berger, who was a class act in the Prem and yet couldn't get a game for us in the CCC. Berger left us and then was a consistent performer at Villa in the Premiership again.
A pattern emerging?

What a ridiculous post FFS......Based on 7 minute appearances!!!!! Talk about shooting someone down before they have been given a chance To compare him to Cresswell is ridiculous, Cresswell was given extended runs in the first 11 to prove his crapness. When a player comes on as a sub it takes 10-15 to get into a game, Tuncay is given half of that and then because he doesn't score a hat trick, he's a waste of money. Stupid post imho Agreed. How can you condemn the man when he hasn't been given a chance. I find it very hard to believe that Tuncay wouldn't add something to our midfield wherever he was played.

The answer is simple he should be one of the first names on the team sheet, either up front with Ric or in midfield /wing . He is probably the most talented footballer this club has had for years and i really hope he gets a proper chance (ie a run of ten games) so he can show us all why we paid millions for him. Its a travesty that he is 2nd choice to the likes of Mama who works aard but scores rarely. Yes i know he sets up goals but Tuncay would too. Tuncays scored more goals from playing wide than Sidibe could ever dream of, and at all levels. He works his bollocks off he just needs a fucking chance. With him and Ric up front and Lawro Whelan and Ethers in the middle we would create and convert lots of goals.

1. ....... Tuncay will get his chance when Fuller is suspended and he has to take it with both hands, .......... 2. He isn't quick enough to fill Etherington's role in the team, 3. and he doesn't have the brain of Rory or Lawrence should he deployed on the right. 4. Like I say, it is harsh to judge him on his cameo appearances to date, but my concerns started at Pompey away in the cup, where he was woeful. quote] Dave, please think before you type mate! 1. Do you really believe that even if he scored a hat trick a game for 3 games during Fuller's absence that he would be picked before Fuller upon his return to availability? 2. We don't know that for certain, we haven't had a chance to assess it. 3. You have got to be kidding! Have you ever heard Rory and Liam speak? Neither can muster a coherent sentence without cliché, whereas Tuncay is articulate ina SECOND language. He's also captain of his country for a reason, skill and a footballing brain! 4. Did anyone come out of that game with any credit?

There is no way in the world anybody can judge him based on his few minutes here and there for us. He has to start 5 or 6 games before we can base any type of opinion on fact.
He will get his chance i just hopes when he does it all goes to plan and not like the 2nd time Paul Gallagher signed.

Alan: I'll give you 3 and 4 but 1 and 2 are pretty laughable mate. If he plays and scores i'm pretty sure he would keep his place, especially that many. ;D I don't need to see Tuncay in a Stoke shirt to KNOW he's nowhere near as quick as Ethers.
