Rubbish I’m basing it on this seasons performance. I didn’t watch today’s game. And what has his speaking up for kids got to do with him as a footballer. Stupid comment mate Me thinks you protest too much!! Sorry. Next time I’ll let you make you derogatory comments without reply

I’m have been lucky enough to have Club Wembley membership for the past 3 years and that’s covered every league cup & FA Cup final on that time. Most of those finals have been totally dire but I really enjoyed yesterday’s game. Nice to see all the trophies spread this season instead of one team thinking they can have the monopoly on everything There’s nothing nice about Man Utd winning anything

Not seen anything so far that says he can cut it at this level. When he came he was as physical as Junho. However the latter seems to have seen what was needed and improved no end I don’t think we’ll get rid because I doubt anyone will buy him. Squad player next year with a few sub appearances

Agreed. He’s a busted flush. Peaked early and way on towards a downward spiral A busted flush!!! Are you joking? Kept the pressure on the City back line throughout the first half and an absolute peach of a pass to set up the second goal. Me thinks I smell an agenda from those who resent his speaking up for poor kids. Rubbish I’m basing it on this seasons performance. I didn’t watch today’s game. And what has his speaking up for kids got to do with him as a footballer. Stupid comment mate

Rashfords body language after the final whistle suggests all is not well. Wonder where he will go, is he good enough for Real Madrid, Bayern Munich etc etc, or will he maybe stay in the premiership. I wouldn’t have him down Stoke so god knows who’ll take the useless pillock Agreed. He’s a busted flush. Peaked early and way on towards a downward spiral

Simple answer. Yes
And it’ll get worse. PL games will definitely go abroad shortly and the European Super League is probably only a few years ago
Then how long before they decide the PL is a monopoly and the likes of Burnley, Norwich etc going up and down isn’t needed
Football sold its soul in 1992

From Guardian article on players from relegated teams who are likely to be targets for Premier League clubs this summer: Alfie Doughty, Luton Alfie Doughty enjoyed a fine debut season in the Premier League for Luton, with the 24-year-old flourishing in the left wing-back role under Rob Edwards. Given the freedom to support the attack, Doughty ended the season with 70 key passes – the most of any defender in the league and ninth overall in the division. With eight assists to his name, too, Doughty’s stock has risen over the campaign. Clubs pondering a move for an attacking full-back should cast a watchful glance over to Kenilworth Road. If only we knew of a club in need of a Left (wing) back. (And that club could afford him.) Unbelievably he’s probably way out of price range now. (How did that happen)

Am I mistaken or did he not really get much game time on those last few matches where we played well ? I like him but he’s certainly not indispensable. If we could get north of £15m we’d be in a good position to bring in a top championship striker (Brearton Diaz maybe)
Maybe sell to Spurs and loan back for a season ?

So if all it is is putting a rail in front of seats do you still have a seat/space number when you buy a ticket. Or is it the old fashioned free for all and stand where you want ?

Spot on from Wolves. Almost feel like applauding 🚨📺 OFFICIAL: letter sent to the Premier League regarding scrapping VAR. "Wolves have formally submitted a resolution to the Premier League to trigger a vote at the league's AGM in June, on the removal of VAR from the start of the 2024/25 season. The introduction of VAR in 2019/20 was a decision made in good faith and with the best interests of football and the Premier League at its heart. However, it has led to numerous unintended negative consequences that are damaging the relationship between fans and football, and undermining the value of the Premier League brand, which include: • Impact on goal celebrations and the spontaneous passion that makes football special. • Frustration and confusion inside stadiums due to lengthy VAR checks and poor communication. •A more hostile atmosphere with protests, booing of the Premier League anthem and chants against VAR. • Overreach of VAR's original purpose to correct clear and obvious mistakes, now overanalysing subjective decisions and compromising the game's fluidity and integrity. • Diminished accountability of on-field officials, due to safety net of VAR, leading to an erosion of authority on the pitch. • Continued errors despite VAR, with supporters unable to accept human error after multiple views and replays, damaging confidence in officiating standards. • Disruption of the Premier League's fast pace with lengthy VAR checks and more added time, causing matches to run excessively long. • Constant discourse about VAR decisions often overshadowing the match itself, and tarnishing the reputation of the league. • Erosion of trust and reputation, with VAR fuelling completely nonsensical allegations of corruption. The decision to table the resolution has come after careful consideration and with the utmost respect for the Premier League, PGMOL and our fellow competitors. There is no blame to be placed - we are all just looking for the best possible outcome for football - and all stakeholders have been working hard to try and make the introduction of additional technology a success. However, after five seasons of VAR in the Premier League it is time for a constructive and critical debate on its future. Our position is that the price we are paying for a small increase in accuracy is at odds with the spirit of our game, and as a result we should remove it from the 2024/25 season onwards." Let’s see which clubs vote to keep it. Should be interesting 🤔

Had far too much abuse. He’s a striker. He needs decent service and for the best of two years he’s had bugger all I hope he signs, I don’t thinks he’s going to be a 20goal a season man (who is in this league) but I get the impression Schuey likes him and he’ll thrive in a more attacking side

Serving up humble pie well done Cundle. He’s certainly done that. I would have sent him back after four games but now you can see why Schuey wanted him. He’d be my number one priority. Hope he’s not out of our price range

AN took 21 pts. from 20 league games at the start of the season (before his sacking). That equates to 1.05 ppg or 48.3 pts from a whole season which would have left us in 22nd place and playing in League One. SS took 33 pts. from his 24 games in charge. 1.375 ppg or 63.25 pts from a whole season and 10th place. That’s a pretty huge turnaround with what is basically someone else’s players….just got to get the recruitment right now I think he’s earned the right to be given a good crack at it next year. The last few weeks have not only seen good results but some very good football as well

I don’t see us going from where we are now to promotion contenders. I’d settle for a top ten spot, more goals and a better home record. Baby steps. I doubt Ipswich were thinking about the Premier League this time last year It’s doable with a few good signings
