Boskamp's last game at Brighton (athletics ground) when Rooney got a hat trick on his debut and we won 5 nil. I was there but the pitch was so far away from the stupid stands you couldn't actually see anything

A big miss but once they realised that they couldn't make the play-offs and weren't in danger of relegation the players lost all motivation with no crowd there was nothing to play for and they treated every game as a Sunday morning kick about. A lot of other teams have had the same problem.
15,000 fans will make a difference hopefully

Fantastic news regarding the price freeze and the continued free away travel! It's a little light on the detail though ... it will be interesting to know what the logistics will be ... Am I missing something here. Everyone seems a little worried about social distancing etc. According the government road map if the science allows May 17th all hospitality indoors opens. End of June ALL restrictions finish. !? But Boris is a well known liar |

If Collins is fully fit after a full pre season, he and Souttar have to start the season as first choice CB's. None of Collins at right back, have the balls to play them together. If so, no need for Chester, either or Baath to both stay. Forrester can add to the CB pool?. Thought Collins was good at right back myself |

Let’s get it right! In the last 15 LEAGUE games, we’ve won 3, drawn 8 and lost four. Not great by any means but all this about 1 win in 15 or 17 is bullshit. Include the Cup games if it suits your agenda, but were we really expecting to win against Leicester and Spurs? Stop being realistic this the Oatcake! I have a sneaking suspicion that if crowds were in the stands he'd be well and truly under threat. I was actually thinking about the crowd element today and firmly believe that if this was a normal non covid season with spectators, with our form and situation we would now be down to attendances of around 16,000. Performances might be very different with a crowd, we are watching training games played at 50% |

6 from me. As the commentary team said 'Why didn't Stoke start with this team?' Poor team selection. Needs to get back to basics and a balanced team. Because Fletcher, Clark and Allen aren't fully fit so it is better to play them for 20 minutes against tried players when they make an impact than for 60 mins against fresh players when they achieve nothing. Also he has to think of Friday night against Watford. |

Vokes is nothing like Fletcher, and he is the least effective of all of our strikers, he offers absolutely nothing and should only play if no other striker is fit and even then I'd rather see Powell up front. Going to be an interesting few days. 7 out of 12 League One games postponed tonight. Going to be a fixture pile up. Clubs getting twitchy, Club Doctors advising against playing. Will be interesting to see how many FA Cup games go ahead, will all teams with Covid be eliminated? I imagine small clubs will, but would the FA eliminate teams like Man City? Switch to the LFT test and all the cases would disappear cheaper and faster so would have a chance of finding any real infections before they spread as well. |
