Giving up SCFC, that’s how they have made me feel, we are now into 7 1/2 years of decline, in that 7 1/2 years I can think of maybe half a dozen matches that have made me genuinely believe we are onto something, only for that optimism to be smashed to pieces - again. Like most I have called for managers heads, called for the CEO’s head, more managers heads, and now the DOFs head, but it just feels we are going in ever decreasing circles as the gravity crocodile drags us down the plug hole. I wonder what a genuine sporting excellence consultant would make of all of our processes, procedures, policies, staff, resource level, facilities etc - a David Braillsford type, I suspect we know, which makes it all the more galling, watching a billionaire bang his head into the same wall time and time again. It really does make you question your sanity of rocking up on a Saturday knowing you are going to be made bloody miserable, if it was a normal relationship you would have bowed out long since! Well clearly like many others I am reaching that point that I can’t just keep putting myself through it, I will use my season ticket, if a glimmer of hope arises, I will not be re-newing it, instead will take a little break, maybe watch Tamworth or Litchfield so I can get my footie fix without ruining every Saturday, I will obviously keep an eye on what’s going on, you can’t help it after 50 years, but I need to soften the impact until they deserve that we return in numbers. Well said and very true. It's dreadful and is sucking the life out of me also.

Im sure it’s not the same site mate......in fact I’m certain Could be wrong though Yeah, kind of half and half. They rotated it and half of the new one went into the old one. Given the site, I can see this happening to the theatre of bullshit at Old Trafford too. Clever Engineering though I must admit.

I Was at the corner of Leek Rd and Conway St. It was all right. My round was down leek Rd around the uni grounds then back up Boughey I had to do the block that went from the cemetery down to the railway bridge. Bloody murder on a Sunday with all the supplements. Had to do it in two halves. Most of the cunts on that side of Shelton only looked at the pictures anyway. Our paper lad was always stopping for ciggy breaks.

Robbing Twats. 40 quid to get in... Back in the day it was free and you just paid for rides, which was great for families where just the kids want to go on rides. We r going on Monday for the lights, fuck em if they think we are stepping foot anywhere near the pleasure beach. They must lose a ton of revenue now. Remember fondly the Sentinel Paper Lads trips. Always carnage always mass punch ups. Great day out with fellow paperboys (and girls) .We got free fish and chips in the tower ballroom . I always wondered what the fucking smell was in there.

Harold's on college road. The one at the bottom of Boughey Road. The one on Stoke Road. All of them but us. 😪 He was indeed a tight fisted twat Joe. Always moaning about shoplifters too. Used to put me right off.😉

I'll qualify this post by saying I live in Cornwall, very rarely get to games these days - maybe one every couple of years on average and Southampton at home so far this season - and for the last 10 years have watched maybe 10-15 a season via streams due to work committments and general apathy/finding something "better" to do. However, my record is appalling. I realised I hadn't seen us win this season so trawled back through the fixture lists and found that Reading away on 7th November 2020 was the last game I watched where we got the three points. To give everyone an idea this season so far I've seen Millwall away, Leicester away, Sheffield Wednesday at home, Millwall at home, Ipswich at home, Sunderland away and Blackburn away on streams and that Southampton game live. 6 losses and 2 draws. Depressing stuff. But yeah, it's generally been a depressing season and a pretty dire few years to watch Stoke. Pure luck obviously. But... 22/23: no wins seen 21/22: no wins seen 20/21: Reading away 19/20: Cardiff home 18/19: Millwall home 17/18: no wins seen 16/17: Swansea home, Watford away (was actually in Minnesota watching at 6am for this one; maybe a hint at what my strategy should be) Not right is it? If a butterfly (me) flaps its wings and decides to watch Stoke in Falmouth, they don't win. Chaos theory. Not Coates or Coates or Scholes or Hughes or Lambert or Rowett or Jones or O'Neill or Neil or Schumacher or Martin or Dublin...but me. I am the bringer of chaos. If anyone feels down about all things Stoke City please know there is probably always someone feeling more down. Or have I been shielded from the worst of it by only watching 25% of the debacle in the first place? Anyway: should I watch this afternoon? I'm not working. You sound like me. I don't get to many games really but I have only seen two wins in years. They were Rotherham and Watford at home this season. I also get the blame from anyone who knows me and I always get told to stay away.

Hopefully this is allowed on here. I'm selling my 21,975 tickets for this Sunday, 18th Feb, at the AO Arena in Manchester. Tickets are sold at face value (£65) if anyone is interested. Tickets are in block 107. The show is sold out now so might be good if anyone was after some but missed out. I can do a transfer of them via WhatsApp/email or the Ticketmaster app. Cheers. Fuck me ! That's a lot of tickets mate.

I’m fortunate to be able to get to pretty much go to most Stoke matches home and away. Within ten minutes I said to my 13 yr old lad, it’s a horrible atmosphere today. To many people there today with a very aggressive, negative and abusive attitude, it was like they wanted it to happen. Strange what is up with people?!! years and years of shit and a team that visibly don’t give a fuck and you call out those who’ve spent good money travelling to watch that shit. People have had a enough!! I certainly have had enough. Well said.

Yep. We used St. Dominic's pool Hartshill.
Blowing the p.j.s up to use as a flotation device was a ball ache. Mine stank of wee for some reason.

On the top deck of the PMT bus going to school, I noticed that blue ink was seeping out of my school bag. It was from a bottle of Quink used to fill my Christmas present fountain pen. ( I never could write with it).
I threw the bottle out of the window somewhere in Heron Cross and thought nothing more of it.
Departing the bus at Bishop Bright High School, I was still trying to wipe the ink from my fingers when I heard a screech of tyres.
It was my horrible bastard of a metalwork teacher Mr. Butler on his moped.
Turns out he had been behind the school bus in the vicinity of Heron Cross.
He liked like a fucking extra from Brave Heart. Even his teeth were blue, which believe me was an improvement in my opinion as he was a heavy smoker.
He was going apeshit trying to find the culprit as I casually walked away.
I had to keep my hands in my pockets all day.
He never did find out it was me. Fuck him, I never liked him anyway.
