It’s inevitable nothing will change till it’s too late. The board are clearly happy with what’s happening. What a joke. The board aren't "clearly happy". That's a silly statement to make. It would be nice if the ‘board’ actually made a statement once in a while!

Go 5-3-2 again? Shawcross, BMI and Williams providing a wall at the back. Diouf and Pieters bombing on. Allen, Etebo and Clucas bossing it in midfield. Berahino and Afobe poaching a few goals. Could it be any worse?! It’s an idea but sadly the Clueless Ones coaching manual only has 433 in it. Rumour has it that when he first arrived it was a particularly windy day on his first training session and half the pages on his clipboard blew away and were never found again. Supposedly they were all the other formations he was planning to try 😂

There will be a significant drop in attendances next season if we stay with the Clueless One and don’t get promoted. Thousands will just walk away, me included probably and my wife and daughter. Can’t justify spending a grand on watching that shower every week. It’s boring the pants off me. The powers that be will see it all too late though just like they did last season when they let us sleepwalk into this hell hole of a league. Sad state of affairs when it’s so obvious what’s wrong.

To be honest I’d rather we played Diouf upfront as a lone striker. At least he works ‘ard unlike Afobe. he can work has hard has he likes but he wont score ,even when he gets the ball he would still miss it or be offside Yes but as I see us at the moment Afobe isn’t causing the oppositions centre halves any problems at all. For a big target man he’s useless. Diouf would at least make a nuisance of himself and have some presence, which Afobe doesn’t seem to have. Dioufs work rate and presence would make space and time for others to hopefully exploit. Afobe seems to possess neither of those attributes, but never mind we’ve only got to splash out £12m on him soon!

How was Afobe utilised before joining us? Rowett has used him pretty much as a lone striker and it’s one of the reasons I don’t rate Rowett because it’s pretty clear Afobe hasn’t got the required attributes to play up top on his own. Rowett doesn’t know how to use him. I’d rather have Diouf up front on his own tbh. Yes he can’t hit a cows arse with a banjo but at least he works hard and would put a bit of pressure on the oppositions centre halves. Afobe does neither.

The Plan from this point on?
With this manager, the Pizza boys and the general lack of any leadership at the top . . . To spend the next decade bumming it around in this division (or worse)
☹️

Another attacking player marginalised by Rowett...... No player in our Premier League history scored more goals in a single season than Diouf which is a bit of an inconvenient fact for many of his detractors. But a physical striker with pace who can occupy defenders and who has hit double figures in the Premier League in recent seasons will not help at all in the final third where we’re really struggling. He is actually a bit shit but Afobe makes him look like Aguero. To be honest I’d rather we played Diouf upfront as a lone striker. At least he works ‘ard unlike Afobe.

You can scream “Rowett Out!!” All you like, the simple fact of the matter is, he’s going absolutely nowhere. It’s depressing but unfortunately it’s the way our clubs been run for the last 2-3 years. Lots of talk and no action (until it’s too late) and I fear it will be the case again. The only saving grace is that Coates said top six was the minimum we should be aiming for, we’re nowhere near that and never will be with this clown in charge. Here’s hoping Coates sees this, but sadly I doubt it. Also I don’t think there’ll be any money to spend in January either (which is probably good if we stick with the Clueless One) I can see us spending the next decade in this division unfortunately.

Speaking of Jon, I didn't realise he was out for the season. At 35 that must be the beginning of the end for him now? Nah, we’ll sign him on a 12 month deal next season!

Saido is looking good this season and he's getting better with every game, play him right up alongside Afobe with someone creative behind them and I think we could score for fun in this league. Shame the manager doesn’t see this. His stubbornness playing one up top is costing us goals and points. Can’t believe we’re still playing square pegs in rounds holes. Berahino on the wing, Bruno at left back. We should have proper cover for these positions. No excuses.

Dunno worry, Coates will give him until January when we’re in the bottom half then say we’re sticking with him as this was always going to be a season of reorganization 🙄

On paper we should beat Hull but I noticed they won on Tues away at Rotherham. I’d love to know what the board are thinking right now. I’d make the Huddersfield match free for season ticket holders and a £10/£5 kids for non holders they need to try to keep fans on board. If we draw or lose to Hull and lose to Huddersfield I think we are in serious trouble and they will have to take a serious look at the situation regarding Rowett Nah Huddersfield will be £15 Adults and £5 children 14,000 max

Being a diabetic myself for 27 years I’ve learned to take dextrose tablets with me to the match just in case my blood sugar goes low. I’ve had to use them once or twice. Any chance of you slipping the odd one or two in the players half time tea They’re no good if you’re already in a coma 😂

Not being unsympathetic but I thought the treatment for diabetics these days was a bit more scientific than a mad dash through the gates for a burger and large fries ! Count yourself lucky you didn't get pepper sprayed ! It depends mate I can be fine one minute and in a coma the next, I always carry insulin with me but this doesn't help when blood sugar levels are low. Seems like the bust up was between butland and McLean with shawcross trying to break it up. McLean at fault or partially at fault for all 3 goals. All 3 crosses came from the full back he didn't track off the back of costing us the 2nd goal at preston. What a great, inspired and harmonious signing he's turning out to be. Not that we couldn't have all predicted what was coming. You can’t just blame McClean... he was left exposed by calamitous defending by Pieters....he should generally be forward of Pieters so if he screws up how can he be expected to cover? For their second Fletcher was strolling back and had two bites at stopping the run That really was pitiful from Fletcher.

Seriously crap last night needs to be dropped but so do 5/6 others That’s the problem though isn’t it. Aside from Berahino (can’t believe I’m saying that) and maybe Ince they were all shocking last night including the whole back four. Somehow Rowett has to have the balls to pick a starting eleven and stick to it and make it work. I mean for god sake we even had Adam on the bench last night and what’s he done to warrant a place over say Sorensen. Seems like he’s clutching at straws just four games in.

All I’m going to say is people need to stop having a go at GR’s ‘style of football’. Because I think his plan A style is excellent! Look back to the first 25 minutes yesterday, the passing was crisp, the attacks were quick, we got the ball on the floor, we got down the wing and got crosses is, we looked threatening. That’s Rowetts style of football. It’s not his fault his left back cannot defend and once we go a goal behind the whole teams heads drop. Admittedly he doesn’t have a plan B but if our players had the right mentality, we wouldn’t need I use the classic ‘long ball up to crouch’ That’s 25 minutes out of a collective 360 that we’ve attempted to play some football. That’s nowhere near good enough and whilst we have all the behind the scenes shenanigans with Coates, Scholes and Cartwright, when the players step on the pitch it’s down to the manager to get the best out of them. At the moment he clearly isn’t and looks out of his depth.

My team for Sat Butland Bauer - Souttar - Cameron - Martina Etebo - Sorensen - Imbula Ince - Afobe - Choupo If some of these players are still under contract then they can get out there and earn their wages as far as i'm concerned. We are struggling to compete and you want to bring people in who don't want to play for the club ? Bojan and diouf have to be a better bet than imbula and choupo To be fair the whole lot of them want fetching into training this morning and read the riot act by the club and told until you’re moved on you will give everything for the club that pays you handsomely. You useless bunch of tossers. (Won’t happen I know but it should)

So he’s refusing to play but taking the money from his contract. Absolute nonsense. Yes pretty much, told us not playing we are trying to sell he has said no to all offers, basically sitting on his contract. Imbula likely to do exactly the same. So are you saying if Rowett picks him to play he’ll say no?

When you see players like this going to our rivals, it infuriates me that we spent the whole Summer chasing McClean. There were so many better players out there than him. Clearly not according to our manager.

He will have got told to sit down in the dig out and not move following the yellow card or it’d be a red. That’s why Callum Davidson was in the technical area. From the Q’Railing you could see he’d got the red mist, hopefully he’s passed on his anger to the players and sacked off a few. Any idea what happened when they got the penalty? (Think that’s when it was, although not 100% sure as I had the red mist by then!) Rowett was having a right go at one of Wigan’s staff and it looked like their manager told his bloke to sit in the dugout and then he ended up apologizing to Rowett over whatever was said.
