gets sent off after slapping his club captain on pitch indierctly helping to lose the game.
pulis could have catered to those (me included) who said that was unforgivable get rid of him
pulis pulls off a masterstroke buy a striker as good as fuller
beattie starts scoring and is an instant hit with the fans
fuller knows he could be replaceable pulls his socks up and has been outstanding since his return
dont get me wrong fuller can be lazy, somtimes sulks when things dont go his way but now he has somthing to prove. for the first time since he has been at the club he has a STRIKER playing alongside him as good as him, scoring goals. fuller and beattie obviously have a friendly rivalry and this is good for the team
ricardo fuller never been better

Yes, good summing up of the situation. We now have to hope that the pair of them can forge a good partnership - which they should be able to do given that they are very different in style. We also have to hope that they stay fit for the next seven games or so as Cresswell and Camara don't look in the same class.

Still cannot believe that some supporters were saying get rid of Ric after the West Ham "incident"
Without Ric and Beats where would we be?

was thinking that this could become the best striker partnership since Stein and Biggns. We have the big man who has a great eye for goal the tricky pacey guy who can create his own chances. Surely has to be one of the best in the Premiership now. I remember I was jealous of the Portsmouth line up earlier this season with Crouch and Defoe up front. Big man little man always works well together.

I've always said over the past 2 seasons that Ric needs a reason to want to be playing for us, rather than being nailed on the roster every week.
He's proved he wants it by upping his game and we've truely seen Ric in his element, wanting to prove himself and wanting to be a fan favourite.
Edit- Forgot to say its the arrival of Beatts thats given Ric the incentive to work that bit harder, but its brilliant to see how well these two are gelling now.

I fully supported Fuller from that incident. One thing me and TP seem to agree on! It was more Griff than Ricci and I still believe that.

Can you not run it through spellchecker in Word before you post it mate?
That would save us all the hassle of trying to work out what it is you’re actually posting.
Kind regards

The fact that Griff has been the one to pay the biggest price for that incident suggests that Ric might have had a reason to slap him? I don't suppose we'll ever know the true story of what was said to get that sort of reaction. It's all water under the bridge now so let's get on with it.

There's never a reason to do such a thing imo but the way it was blown out of proportion is what made me so angry. Fuller was frustrated that Griff was still on the pictch and then conceded a shite goal to concede. Griff should never have marched the 40 yards to confront Fuller and Fuller should never have slapped him. Even still, the slap wasn't a sending off. It was all blown out of proportion and the whole situation from Fuller, Griff and the hoardes around Stoke baying for blood was shocking.

There is, of course, one other factor to consider - that Ric is mint and Griff is a bit shit.

i must admit. i was one of those calling for him to be sacked. but in my opinion, fuller getting a kick up the arse, and the timely departure of griff as captain has been the best thing thats happened to us all year.
