Close call between Ric and Abdy. They were equally as important at opposite ends of the pitch, both were simply superb.

Abdy was an absolute rock, Whelan (and also Pugh) threw everything in front of the ball on a couple of occasions showing fantastic commitment for the cause, Ryan had a blinder again and Ric and JB wer brilliant. What a superb performance.

how good does it sound tho that we can say today every single player played great radiostoke man said - it was Liam's best game since hes been back and was ricki's best game of the whole season so far, except when abby had to tell him to shush a little haha and also seemed as tho tommy had a good game ethers and whelan were mentioned nearly everytime we got the ball higgy apparantly made some very slick passes ryan and wilko as usual were great in defence abby was the big brick made one mistake but apart from that was the best player on the pitch and then beats scored the goal and played fab again get the fuck in stoke

RIC he was poor today IMO etherington or whelan Blimey, it's all about opinions I guess!! Ric tore them to bits from minute one to minute 90 and never gave their (consistently fouling) centre half a seconds peace. Top draw I thought.

Whelan had one of his poorer games for us today. He'd make a good pass and then give the ball away stupidly, make a good tackle and then miss a tackle.
Abdy has to be man of the match, I don't think there's anyone even close.

Glen Whelan was man of the match today, covered every blade of grass, and for me is the first name on the team sheet! I thought that Abdy. Ryan and Wilko were outstanding aswell. Can't believe the step up that Wilko has made! He gets better with every game!

Abdy Faye was superb today.
Fuller played well and Beattie showed his intelligence to cover every blade of grass.
I thought Whelan and Wilko didn't have games they will look back on with any personal satisfaction.
Still its results that matter and today was fantastic!!
Just a word about Carson - hahahahahahahahahahahaha!

sorry guys, i appreciate its only an opinion, but i strongly disagree with the chaps saying fuller was poor. he was fucking class today. superb goal (albeit shit keeping) and linked up well with ethers all afternoon.
abdy was immense. even by his standards his performance was TOP NOTCH. I also felt delap had a great game, superb now that he's back in the middle

Abdoulaye Faye - He was so good he actually scared one of the West Brom players off the ball in the corner in the first half without even tackling him!

Ab Faye had such a quality game with incredible tackles.
Matty had a helluva game as well - he adds such a nice dimension to our game with width and pace.

sorrenson, wilko, shawcross, faye, higgy, lawrence, whelan, delap, etherington, fuller, beattie they were all man of the match in my eyes. Got to go along with that today. What we showed was a great TEAM spirit and understanding. The baggies look like a bunch of strangers. And our 12th man was fantastic again as well.

Shawcross had a fantastic game, but Fuller won us the game and got us the points with two moments of utter fullerness.
Amazing how that lad said Fuller was poor, listen to the radio better....They couldn't cope with him everytime he got the ball, a classic performance from the talisman.

Glenn Whelan was the class act on the pitch yesterday. Even The Times had him down as the man of the match.
Abdoulaye not a million miles behind but, to tell the truth, EVERYONE played well!
