Great team performance. Although if I had to choose one it would be Abdoulaye. He looked so fired up when he came across to us at the final whistle, like he knew that was the result that keeps us in the premier league.

Shawcross was immense yesterday. Did anyone see that clearing header in the first half where he got the ball and took out Faye in the process........thats no mean feat, and having come into that kind of close proximity to him, Ryan will be having twins in 9 months time.

Does anyone else have their heart in their mouth every time Abdy turns with the ball into a striker, only to completely take the piss with some fancy footwork? You'd think that at this stage of the season I'd have learnt! All them years of Mohan, Whittle etc just lamping the ball have clouded my judgement, and it's hard to come to grasps with a centre half who can play football....

Funnily enough I didn't think Fuller put the shift in that some other players did. BUT there is no doubt that he put the shit up the Baggie defenders every time he got the ball and he did very well for Beattie's goal as well as scoring the first.
Faye man of the match for me though - seeing him winning the ball and playing it out of defence must have demoralised the Baggies and cheered up all the Stoke team by taking some pressure off. By the end of the game the Baggies were not even trying to take the ball off him once he had it! ;D

Ab Faye by several country miles, I thought.
He surpassed himself yesterday. He made the hard things look easy and had his slippers and cardigan on while doing the easy things.
It reminded me of Gunnarsson's performance at Gillingham in the play-offs.

Ab Faye put in a massive performance yesturday along with Matty and Whelan. For me though Delap got MOTM. Showing we don't need Diao to play the holding midfielder, broke up every WBA attack and bearly let a ball get through the middle of the pitch to there strikers. Gutted i couldn't sit in the away stand though, so had to make do sitting in the east stand GOARRRNNN STOKEEE.

Abdy was immense as ever but I'd give it to Glenn for the way this performance capped his last few, he's really transformed and found his feet now.

Whelan for me he had a gret game, him and Rory who gets an honourable mention showed Pulis that we don't need that holding midfielder.
But an all round top perrormance from the lads who deserved the support given yesterday, absolutely top draw from all concerned

Would have hated to have to vote, as there were so many. Rory had his best game, playing in his rightful position, for once. Ryan was triffic, yet again, and Glenn did so well, especially bearing in mind his mid-week endeavours.
Wilko has improved beyond all recognition, is absolutely fearless and what so many other PL clubs need. And Beats keeps us wondering what we'd do without him, while Riccy did well until the last 15 minures when he made us sweat a bit.
But Abdoulaye it is. A monster you have to have on your side, I wonder how on earth the philanthropic 'Castle will feel, at the week-end?!
