I've 38 points and we finish 4th bottom, sadly predicting a loss on Sunday and only two further points away from home

ive just done it and we are safe, and thats losing a couple as well. 14th for us looks a bit daft and its sounds a bit optomistic , but going through that imo many teams have a way more difficult run-in than us if we keep our best players suspension and injury free for our games It will be interesting to drag this page back up at the end of the season to see what actually happened 1 MAN U ... 98 -------------------------------- 2 CHELSEA...86 3 LIVERPOOL...79 4 A VILLA...78 --------------------------------- 5 ARSENAL...72 --------------------------------- 6 EVERTON...70 7 MAN CITY...49 8 FULHAM...48 9 WIGAN...45 10 BOLTON...43 11 WEST HAM...42 12 SPURS...41 13 SUNDERLAND...41 14 STOKE CITY...41 15 BLACKBURN...38 16 HULL...36 17 PORTSMOUTH ...35 ----------------------------------- 18 WEST BROM ...35 19 NEWCASTLE ...34 20 MIDDLESBOROUGH ...30 I wouldn't of said that before i did the prediction thingy, but after seeing everybodys run-in, we have a great chance imo 5

Have to agree- one thing I did notice is how difficult some team's run ins are. Boro and Hull will not be getting much change I think. Massive game Hull v Blackburn. A draw would suit us and keep us out of that bottom 3. Have us to lose tomorrow and draw v Bolton but safe enough in the long run. Have Pompey to go which surprised me when I got the final table. West Brom I think are just plain doomed and Hull have Man U last game.

I've just done it fully expecting to see us in the bottom three! Its only when you see the fixtures the other teams have that you realise how tough it is for our opponents I have us well safe in 14th and have WBA, Middlesbrough and Portsmouth to go down. Not all good news though - manure top the league by 5 points followed by liverpool, chelsea and villa BTW I don't have us getting any points from our next 3 games

Yeh does show how hard some of the run ins are. We need some wins not draws I had Newcastle, Middlesbrough and WBA to go down, Newcastle on goal difference. having done the pools in the past, I know how often I get the results right, unfortunateley.

I think there is always some kind of bias on these things I agree. I always do this and try to be as ruthless as possible and then have to go back and change some results coz we end up in too good of a position lol. Even after added ruthlessness tho we still stay up ;D

have people taken into account that we don't win the "winnable" home games ? If you go by the pattern so far this season we've beaten teams none of us thought we would Arsenal spurs villa Man city And we've not faired as well against the "beatable" teams Portsmouth Hull Fulham west brom (yes, we did beat them, but we made hard work about it, and Sunderland, neither turned out to be exactly a walk in the park and could have gone either way really).

All that talk of 43 points to stay up was always a bit flawed. Just shot through the predictor myself and had us staying up with 37pts (which was a shock as I'd be surprised if I predicted 3 wins)
Our rivals run in's are very hard. Doesn't necessarily mean we'll stay up with ease, but a points tally of 35-38 could easily do it.
