I have us going down on on goal difference...
Supported the Potters for too long to be as confident as some on here.

If Man Utd romp the title with three or four games to go then forget them caring a lot about what they do in their final games. I still recall them losing to West Ham at home to keep them up.
Just check who're they're playing late on and don't assume they'll win!

I was as pessimistic as I could be and we ended up on 37 points which was just about enough to survive!
Hull Boro and Boggies were the bottom three and us Blackburn and Pompey all finished on 37 points with us having the worst gd

Don't fret, Smudge. With our special relationship there's no way Man Utd will take it easy. Ritchie De Laet to score the winner that sends Hull down on the final day of the season.

It's only a game to pass time during the tension filled weeks, calm down. I had a draw. Boro always do well at home to top teams, Liverpool are rubbish. Worrying that this might build some momentum for Boro though.

Simple we need 40pts to stay up. we're on 25 right. That means we must obtain 15 more
So we would need to win 4 games at the Brit (wigan, bolton, blackburn, boro) And get 3 pts away from home (hull, fulham, WBA)

Boroughs win shows how unreliable your forecasting tends to be. Bad result for us.

I tried it 3 times now, each time we have 46 points and finished either 9th or 10th, with Newcastle, Boro and Brazil off down...
Newcastle only go down on goal difference.

17th or anything higher (would prefer higher, mind) would do me.
Years ago, wasn't it GrimRob, Grimsby supporter, had his own predictor thingy on the web? I seem to remember that from Rivals board, second division days (even before it was named Coca Cola).
