we didnt sit back we tried to hit them on the break a lot more than we have in some other games, its about having better players in beattie and etherington we have improved, but we are still miles behind teams with still half our side still good championship standard players competing against world class players
Yesterday we had Whelan and Pugh againt lampard and Ballack , any surprise that they had most of the possession????
We did well yesterday and I think the away win will come soon , but we must sign a good central midfield player

Could we be the first team in the premier league to never win away and actually stay up

Could we be the first team in the premier league to never win away and actually stay up ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't think so! TP has said we need to win 3 games away from home. I think if we win 3 games away from home then we will stay up comfortably. Do I think we will win 3 games away from home? No, not at the moment. At the moment, I believe there is more chance of TP turning 1-0 up with 20mins to go into a 1-1 draw rather than a 2-0 win.

The point is we were battered at Chelsea they had 25 shots on target and 17 off-target if Sorenson had not put in a truly fantastic performance it could easily have been 5 or 6 - 1.
Against Liverpool, Sorenson was indifferent (at best) but if he had taken the afternoon off we would still have drawn 0 - 0.
The reasons were we kept possession better, defended higher up the pitch and put Liverpool under pressure. If we can do that to Liverpool at home we could at least try to to do the same at Tottenham next week.
