lets not forget that it may be be southend that feel the backlash rather than us, and in doing that they will be knackered and we will get the result we want

I hope that we go at 'em. If we try and park the bus we'll get beaten and it's exactly the game Chelsea will want (ie; no threat of them losing). Get at 'em, let it be known we're around, show some attacking intent and see what comes.
It's a bonus game, all said and done.

We've got nothing to lose. We HAVE to have a go and not just sit back and hope they don't score. Kitson and Beattie up front - our 9 million pound front line!! C'mon Stoke - really believe we can get something out of this - at least a draw!!! ;D

I'd really like to see us give a 4-5-1 formation a go away from home, this will also match Chelsea's formation, perhaps we can cancel them out by going like for like ? Not sure how fit Lawrence is though ? that might scupper my 4-5-1 idea. ----------------------------Sorro-------------------------- Wilko----------Scross---------------AbFaye--------Higgy ------------Delap-------AmFaye-------Whelan--------- Lawrence-----------------------------------------Ethers ------------------------Beattie--------------------------- Thats the lineup for me mate,if lawrence is up to it. Leave Beattie loitering on the edge of the box when rory launches one in to hammer the loose ball home. Chelsea dont always cover the posts defending corners ( or long throws ). I can sniff a goal .....or two !! Gooo on Stoke.

I wonder if Drogba will regain his place? Agreed Mark, a couple of injuries would be very nice tonight!

Drogba was awful in the 2nd half v Man United, not much better in the first. Still I expect him to feature v Stoke. Either he's not fully fit or he regrets not moving at the start of the season. I was quite surprised he stayed at Chelsea. I hope they have a tough game tonight, a few more fall outs, a sending off and a few injuries would be nice

That takes the cake, how innaccurate! I'm going take a punt on a starting XI
Sorensen
Wilkinson Ab. Faye Shawcross Higginbotham
Delap Amdy Faye Diao Etherington
Kitson Beattie
**if Griffin is fit, him instead of Wilko **If Diao is unfit, then i think he'll may play Cresswell on the right and bring Delap into centre midfield

We have wore it at every away game have we not... Bolton - Yellow / blue 'Boro - Yellow / blue Liverpool - Yellow / blue Portsmouth - Red & white Man City - Red & whiteWigan - Yellow / red Manure - Yellow / blue Newcastle - Red & whiteBlackburn - Yellow / red Wet Sham - Yellow / blue Don't understand why we wore the away kit at Bolton, Wigan, Blackburn & West Ham. Referee's decision- depends if he is colour blind or just blind.

I don't usually have a bet, but i'm up for betting on us upsetting them tomorrow. ;D Do ya have to state a certain score, or can i just say,"a win or draw for STOKE"?
