Three differing emotions as I left Stamford Bridge yesterday. 1.Gutted - Lads had given there all. Playing against 12 men once again. Late, late goals conceded when we were out on our feet. Every Stoke player gave their all yesterday and sweated blood for the cause. 2.Anger - Peter Walton has now given us absolutely naff all at 3 away games this season(Manure, Blackburn & now Chelsea). Three bookings against Stoke, none against Chelsea. Several imaginary free-kicks awarded against us during the game, particularly around the box , giving Chelsea every opportunity to score. Ballack at his cheating best, faking injury when tackled fairly, in an effort to get Amdy sent off. I could go on. 3.Pride - Fantastic effort by the lads. Superb support throughout (not much to compete against though was there!). - But ultimately, no points gained and we're back in the bottom three. If points were awarded for guts and effort, we'd have got maximum yesterday. Our luck away from home has to change soon, hasn't it?

was strange really came away maybe most gutted ever after a match but also not too un-happy because of the comfort we can take from leading a team like chelsea away for 87 minutes

Just a side thought about the game, was how stupid was their replays footage. They showed every shot they had over and over again, yet when we scored they didn't replay that.
Also how annoying are those flags!

Though not very chuffed with the final result, this was the first time I have seen us play well away from home for a whole game and not just 2nd half like at Newcastle or not at all at Blackburn.
The whole team put in a brilliant performance and looking at what I saw yesterday, I don't think it will be too long before we collect 3 points on our travels.
If we can keep up the good home form and add to it away then we will be here again next season.
Well played Stoke, very proud of your performance yesterday.
