I've just had a call - saying that I've been successful at application stage for an AO position working for the DWP in Lybster, Caithness, North Scotland and that I'm to go for interview! I didn't apply for the job but have just had my Disclosure Scotland CRB certification through literally today for an EO position in Shropshire, so I'm a bit confused. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have worked previously in a finance company but as a credit controller so not gone anywhere near the finance side of things so its a complete new direction. its very interesting though and a lot to take in.

Long shot maybe i know, but has anyone got or know of any Saturday jobs going. Im only 16 and i've already worked at Boots for 5months, sorting out files/booking appointments and because of a change in management the jobs not there anymore.
So if anyone knows of a weekend job going. I can get to anywhere in Stoke.

Another long shot, i'm looking for a part time job anywhere in Stoke On Trent. I'm 16 and not in college that often, so I have plenty of time for a job. I'd work on Saturdays and Sundays as well as in the week. Don't really want that much when it comes to pay, only enough for a season ticket next year and enough money for bus travel ;D Thanks in advance boothy

It's hard - I personally have given up looking for work in this area as it's formally dying on its arse around here. It's sad to see my home area like this - I spent the entire Christmas period looking for work in London and elsewhere. There are still jobs available down there, albeit a little on the niche side, but literally nothing around here for anyone like me.
It'll make life more exciting anyway ;D
