Sidders....back to the Coalville thing. I remember it being built. I used to drink up there regularly in the old Blythe Spirit with a bunch of the guys from off the estate. One of them, a great mate, Roy Hammersley, died from a brain tumour 12 months ago. He'd moved to Dresden a while back same as I did. He was a great lad as were most of those who I knew off there. They were mostly miners from South Wales and Geordieland. The originals who moved into that estate were brilliant folk. I worked and drank with many of them. One thing I've never worked out is how the builder of those houses got away with it. They were the biggest pile of shite that were ever constructed. After just 5 years they were falling apart at the seams....literally. Anyway, sorry for the 'diversion'. Back to the thread. Mr links....did you really get beaten up twice on there? You weren't debt collecting, were you? OS.
