what a difference a couple of games make lol was it not two weeks ago people were on about pulis out, now pulis is king, my only worry is that these former pulis haters will turn against him just as quickly as they have turned for him and attendences will fall

I don't know anyone who said Pulis Out that is now calling him the King. Nice try at a post designed to wind people up though.

I don't like him or hate him. What I have to do however is respect him. Grinding results our though like last Sunday will be the real key. We are on a good roll which we needed to go on before christmas to give us that boost. I do redict a shock 1 - 0 win against the baggies in what will be a match where you will lose your finger nails. My next away games Barnsley and I can't wait for that either.
We deserved it yesterday after their first goal as we took over and apart from slipping up on their second we held on for a great win.

Very I wonder how many of the "I wont go again whilst Pulis is Manager" band have been for their Newcastle tickets this week?

There's nothing dignified about cutting your nose off to spite your face though is there?
One of my mates was a season ticket holder for years, before deciding that he wouldn't go as long as Pulis was manager over some ridiculous moral standpoint over Carl Hoefkens.
He still says that he won't go even if Pulis takes us to the Champions League.
That's not the kind of behaviour that fans of the club should be applauding...it's just pathetic bloody-mindedness of the highest order. Being fickle is part of what being a football fan is all about. Today's villain should always have the chance to become tomorrow's hero, and there have been many times when I've slated players/managers, only to do a complete 180 turn the following week when they have an upturn in form.

I don't know any critics of Pulis who now beleive he has overcome any of his percieved shortcomings No1. The only volte-face that I have observed is from the folk who bleated every time a critic of Pulis posted an opinion, that they were not real fans, and couldn't resist the opportunity to have a poke. Many of these posters now race to their PCs from the living room at 4:45 every match day to post "Where are the Anti's" now type threads.

Ilford Dave the same as been said of your good self with grass added on for good measure . Isn't it about time you started having some balance to your statements . Maybe you should have a little empathy for Pulis considering you get similar kinds of abuse as him . Youv'e been smitten

Youll find that manchester utd played the very same tactics as stoke today at anfield! So that means alex ferguson is a one dimensional cunt as well then?

No they didn't potters. I have just watched the match, and whilst Man U did set up to counter attack, they did not spend the match hitting balls over the top of Liverpools midfiled to a big man up fornt on his own. In fact they played two midgets up front.
They also attacked as a unit whereas we often keep over half the team back in our own half.
There is a massive difference between the way Man set up, and the way we do.

If you ever had any credibillty when talking about fooball which I don't think you did, you certainly have none after that ridiculous statement. Exactly what match were you watching?
Trousers it isn't about cutting your nose off, it's about sticking to your principles. Some on here don't seem to believe people have them, regardless of whether you think it is right or wrong.

Dave, I can personally take or leave Pulis, I think at the moment he's doing a good job and working miracles with the team, but by the same token it's often been very hard to watch and not really worth £20+ a throw of my hard-earned money.
However, he deserves credit for the team's performances of late. It's hugely churlish to not give credit where it's due.

Again lets have a quote from me this season calling for his head? Again you won't be able to as I haven't done. I don't like TP that is true, but I have not called for his head. This is just another bullshit post from Potters with no substance or truth , pretty much like most of his posts.
Like I've said potters, lets have some quotes, or stop your bullshit.

It's hugely churlish to not give credit where it's due. and I have on another thread .. its limted I agree, and he signed every single one of them, and he has the largest transfer and wage budget at his disposal that any Stoke manager has ever had, and his starting point for this "limited squad" was a squad he claimed when he was Plymouth manager should have been a top 6 side ....

exactly ;D all he deserves , you are finally cottoning on , we are 4th , i should fucking hope so after he claimed that the squad he left boskamp was capable of the top 6

Plenty of managers have spent more than us and are below us.
Pulis has signed the players who have got us here. Not all of his dealings in the transfer market have come off but the likes of Simonsen, Shawcross, Diao, Lawrence, Cresswell and Fuller are all quality and he deserves credit for bringing them in - he could have frittered the budget away on shite.
If it's not down to the manager when we win, then it's not down to him when we lose - you can't have it both ways.

robvandeurzen83: if it wasn't for his comments as Plymouth manager during Boskamps reign I might give him some credit for a decent position like 4th , but frankly if THAT squad should have got top 6, then his current squad should be top ..... he who lives by the sword etc
