Yeah he stood out to me, he’s just missing confidence and goals. He’ll get a goal soon and I think our over all form will change when he does. On form he’s way too good for this league. I thought Koumas was shite on Saturday and just ran around a lot. My old man thought he had a great game. He was much better tonight mind. Opinions 🤷🏻♂️ First half he very nearly cost us a goal by trying to turn his player when he had two on him, lost the ball and Rose blocked a goal bound shot. Rose then made a point of utterly bollocking him. He does some good things, but he has almost cost us a couple of times recently and his decision making is not as good as it should be. All part of learning the game though and the reason no one above our level is going to be looking at him as a starter. I agree his decision making can be poor. I just think it’s a lack of confidence though. Panicking maybe. I probably focus on him a lot more because I like him and enjoy watching him play, so a little bias I suppose. I just always expect him to do something, same with Million and he always stands out to me. Maybe it’s more recognisable when he’s poor because he can be so good. I still think he’s one of the best players we have, just needs a goal to build his confidence.

He looks lost at the moment, but a good look for someone who is supposed to be technical when we have transformed into Barcelona E,F, or G team.

Is there a worse striker than Ennis in this Div?

94 shots against in our last 5 games. What is the plan? Mental especially as that includes the freak 6-1 against Portsmouth where I can’t remember them having many shots at all. Stats for the other four games must be ridiculous.

94 shots in 5 games. What do you expect when all they they do is stand off & let the other team have free shots at our goal. We let their wide man have the freedom of the park to get their crosses into our box, then don't defend it, How many goals do we concede from corners? all we do is stand there & let them have free headers.

It's a point at the end of the day, In times gone by we would have lost that.

Don’t know why folk are moaning. 2-0 up and scraping a draw is a great result. We knew Bristol (Barcelona) would struggle on a Tuesday night😕

Tbf, Bristol have been grinding out results recently. At least we got a point. Best team we’ve played against this season. Definitely at home anyway. Thought they were great going forwards. We are far too easy to play through though. Changes should have been made at half time at 2 up. Hopefully he will learn.

Because of our lack of physicality wr have to work so hard I fear this game and Saturday despite undoubtedly admirable work rate will show we are destined to struggle until January at the earliest and by then we will be playing for survival as our best feasible goal You think Bristol City have more physicality than we do? I actually feel we are developing an identity and players are clearer about what’s expected of them. BM I did , I do and I was spot on we just can’t compete physically for long enough or hard enough Saturday has disaster written all over it and some naive managememt isn’t likely to help

You also said anything better than 1 point in the 3 league games this week would be ‘excellent’. So cheer up.

So according to you we’ve done very well with still a game to go. Stop talking absolute nonsense and then going back on it the next day.

You can’t just come up with a load of different theories and then the 1 out of 20 that you get correct say look who was right.

Don't know a single thing about them to be honest. One of those clubs that seem to exist in some other dimension and never do anything. They also rival Blackburn for the worst away kits in the history of football this side of Pluto I rember having about 18 Gerry Gow stickers in my first Panini album. Their only achievement to date for me Unbeaten in 5 apparently . They have a nice bridge. ...struggling now . You're right about this side of Pluto, them Eris, Haumea, Makemake, Gonggong, and Quaoar away kits are even worse!

Bit of a mad game all in all. Came out of the blocks flying, but as Bristol got a foot hold back in the match we just seemed to panic and rush our work.
Viktor has done brilliantly well with some of his performances these last few weeks, but my God it’d be nice if he was only having to pull those saves out of the bag every once in a while. I’ve been concerned for a little while about how easy our midfield two are to play through, and last night it felt we never really got to grips with that. It was crying out for a switch to a midfield three, but the one we got didn’t really help the situation.
Moving to the manager, I thought his subs were pretty strange. I can half-see the thinking in bringing Ennis in to try and have him winning flick-ons for Cannon, but to sacrifice Koumas seemed odd - can only think there were fitness concerns. Switching to the back-five didn’t really solidify us much, and although it meant an auxiliary midfield three of Thompson, Moran and Manhoef, because of the freedom Manhoef was given he ended up more like a third striker than midfielder. Was crying out for a 4-3-3 for me, with Sidibe coming in to get a foot on the ball and freeing Thompson up to press higher. Would’ve done Junho for Sidibe at that point and moved Koumas left and push Cannon on alone. We got some joy early on with balls in the box, but seemed to give up on our width as Bristol got back into it.
Another concern was Gibson for me, he looked incredibly lethargic.
Still, four unbeaten. Need to up things against Sheffield Utd, and probably rotate heavily against Southampton.

We have a team that lacks pace and physicality. Going forward we're OK if we get the ball down an play but we can't mix it unless Gallagher is on the pitch. Without that type of player Cannon is useless. Centre mid is a massive issue, we just get played through exposing a defence that hasn't a clue what it's doing. Wilmott... christ on a bike.
And don't get me started on the two wide players last night. Both were atrocious and the dutch lad was an embarrassment.
I like Moran, good footballer who looks to be positive.

Moran I thought was a virtual shining light in a raging sea of dross. I'd play him in front of Burger and Thompson next game to help shore the midfield.

He looks lost at the moment, but a good look for someone who is supposed to be technical when we have transformed into Barcelona E,F, or G team. "Supposed to be technical"? He's by far the most technical player in the team. The amount of times he keeps hold of the ball when I'm sure he'll lose it is double digits every game. His final ball, probably due to immature decision making, is lacking at the moment. That will come. But think of it this way: only Bae and Koumas can hold up the ball so we can go forward when the ball comes from Moran or we bypass the midfield from the defence. If Bae hadn't been on the pitch we'd have been even more steamrolled than we were, without many of the chances we created. This wasn't a game where Bae was our worst, far from it. I rated Gibson, Rose, Bocat, Cannon, Thompson and Manhoef (who was utter utter shite) worse than Bae, who had an ok game IMO.

Just mustered up the courage to come on here after a "fuck off Stoke you make me ill, I can't deal with this shit" 20 hours.
I am now back to actual real fear now before a fixture, if NP doesn't come up with something then we are getting a reet dry fisting on Satdee....
Fucking wank Stoke.

I think the issue we have with injuries is that the bench is getting weaker and weaker. We don't seem to have that game changer on the bench ready to go.
