I was worried at ht. Thought that Bristol were looking dangerous & it was only a matter of time until they scored. Bar another brilliant performance from our gk today we’d have had a kicking. Another really poor home performance for me.

It would be nice if Pelach played his best central defenders, a midfield that could compete and shake his strikers up a bit as Cannon is offering nothing at the moment.
He’s showing all the signs of an inexperienced coach by playing names rather than those who will bring better balance to the team.

94 shots against in our last 5 games. What is the plan?

First game where Pelach's subs and tactical changes were poor imo. Stevens looked tired and the back 5 seemed to only invite more pressure. Think we should've left Bocat on to keep any threat on the left with a 5. Junho and particularly Manhoef had poor games. Both lacked a bit of dynamism. Think the whole squad looked quite leggy come the second half. Positives are Viktor was incredible, Tchamedeu was actually quite good when he came on and Moran had a good game. He didnt need to take Bocat off, he diddnt need to take Kumas off, I kinf of understand the tactical change but for me it would have been, wilmot for jr, ide have left Kumass on, fuck me Ennis well what do you say? fuck it, that was dog shit

Can't really blame Cannon, we were in their third for about 30 seconds it seemed. Tchamadeu looked like he'd won a raffle. Moran looked very good, VJ was again outstanding, Bocat looked like he was really up for it, good going forwards, Manhoef looked absent, Junho in parts looked good, Koumas is still v good IMO but the rest weren't at it.

Great commentary on the Bristol stream. Very fair and honest. Take note Sohail wherever you are Probably researching the architecture of the next away ground we’re visiting.

All he does is jog around pointing at folk, marking fuck all and nothing else. He stands around waiting to get booked.

Well, that was embarrassing, even if we did hold out for a draw!!! If it wasn't for Johansson that could have easily been 4, 5 or even 6 against!!!
Taking nothing away from Bristol, they gave us a lesson on how to play tonight... But boy do we have some weak links within our squad!!!

We are going to have games where it doesn't happen but will take a point from a poor performance. We didn't lose the game so that's a positive

Without Victor that would have been a drubbing and one we would have had no complaints about. You can't stop playing when you're two up and just fifteen minutes gone. Terrible performance and what on earth were the subs about. Koumas our best chance of a goal and Bocat,at least creating chances with his crosses. Maneof had a total mare and should have come off 45 mins earlier. Gibson IS NOT worth a shirt never mind the armband.

The thing I find most difficult is the fact that are still just as shite as we were before, but we're not even prepared to give our homegrown young players a chance.

Viktor Bae was great We looked good for 15 mins. We’re always shit against Bristol City and we didn’t lose 😆 Bae??? Thought he was poor “yet again” nothing player. That was definitely my thoughts tonight!!! He needs to strengthen up, he's so easily knocked off the ball!!!

Never seen a team look so scared of a football like tonight.
The backline bypassed the midfield every time and instead looked to get it to our wide and front players with aimless balls because we were so terrified of even thinking of playing it through the middle.
From the start of the second half we should have been showing some gamesmanship, take a yellow card here and there, tactical fouls.
In reality it was never going to happen, because Bristol City were completely levels above us tonight in terms of fitness and aggression.
It was absolutely desperate.

That was very worrying. The total retreat, and then regression into a useless football team, coupled with the most questionable subs……and I was really looking forward to that game.

Was it just me who thought they should have added a midfielder to try and get some control? Going 5 at the back was just giving up. Ennis was better today, to clutch at straws I agree with your diagnosis mate 👍 Massive gaps in midfield again. Going forward he makes the two CMs spend most of their time ambling around slowly, close to each other, and side-by-side. There's no way out. It's bizarre.

I feel like I need to take a rest from football for a while. In all seriousness. Got more important things going on around me at the moment and perspective is everything.

94 shots against in our last 5 games. What is the plan? If Pelach does as much analysis as he claims, how has he not concluded that this is not acceptable and that the current defensive partnership is not good enough. Get Ash Phillips in.

Have to be fair to Pelach. Look what he has to choose from! Okay options up from but from the midfield back (except Viktor) most of them are complete garbage. Burger has moments when healthy, Moran is okay, Stevens has the odd descent game. Aside from that they are all shit, to a man. How is any manager going to get a tune out of that garbage?

No balance in midfield given injuries I think. Can’t have Bae, Manhoeff, Cannon and Koumas all on the pitch together as they are always looking to be advanced and don’t offer enough protection or drop into midfield to receive balls to then get us up the pitch through midfield. Moran is a great link up player, but we need Burger/Lawal behind him with then 3 out of Bae/Manhoeff/Cannon or Koumas up front.

Yeah he stood out to me, he’s just missing confidence and goals. He’ll get a goal soon and I think our over all form will change when he does. On form he’s way too good for this league. I thought Koumas was shite on Saturday and just ran around a lot. My old man thought he had a great game. He was much better tonight mind. Opinions 🤷🏻♂️

Opinions 🤷🏻♂️ First half he very nearly cost us a goal by trying to turn his player when he had two on him, lost the ball and Rose blocked a goal bound shot. Rose then made a point of utterly bollocking him. He does some good things, but he has almost cost us a couple of times recently and his decision making is not as good as it should be. All part of learning the game though and the reason no one above our level is going to be looking at him as a starter.

Moran is not a 6 or 8, he's an advanced midfielder and it should be his only position with two behind him otherwise we'll get overrun. Unless there are injuries I don't know why we didn't add another body in the midfield with Sidibe or Seko. Pelach ultimately didn't trust that idea hence why he want to a back 5.

In fairness it’s like being between a rock and hard place. Defensive and midfield need shoring up. We need to be able to play 2 extra players.
