We’re going to be a relegation team I fear.
Gibson and Rose is a shambolic CB pairing.
Thompson is a complete waste of a player.
Up top cannon offers nothing without Gallagher.
Thank Christ we’ve got Viktor in goal. The only positive (Moran maybe as well).

Was it just me who thought they should have added a midfielder to try and get some control? Going 5 at the back was just giving up. Ennis was better today, to clutch at straws

First game where Pelach's subs and tactical changes were poor imo.
Stevens looked tired and the back 5 seemed to only invite more pressure. Think we should've left Bocat on to keep any threat on the left with a 5.
Junho and particularly Manhoef had poor games. Both lacked a bit of dynamism.
Think the whole squad looked quite leggy come the second half.
Positives are Viktor was incredible, Tchamedeu was actually quite good when he came on and Moran had a good game.

Pelach had better get stuck into them now. They need drilling on how to build an attack. Also on how to play out with the ball. Also how to show some spine. He should be very very busy.

It was by and large awful, great first 10 minutes and then, well shambles.Has any team ever had so many attempts in an away game. You simply can't do that when you are at home. The midfield looks so lightweight it's untrue.

Really suffering in midfield from a physicality perspective. We completely lost the midfield battle second half, but not surprising when you’ve only got Thompson with a defensive bone in his body and without injuries he would probably be 4th choice behind Burger/Lawal and Pearson.
Can’t have Bae/Manhoeff/Moran/Koumas and Cannon all on the pitch and expect to control a game. Some good signs though and once we get the midfield balance right we are showing that we can be potent going forwards.

The litmus test now will be to see how we respond to teams with more pedigree like Sheffield and Southampton. |
