Way to early to say he's going to be a great but some encouraging signs.
To be honest I'm more encouraged by the two draws than the big win - shows we can dig in and are sufficiently organised at the back to grind out results when everything isn't going your way which any side serious about a promotion challenge needs to do. Since relegation we've always looked like we might turn the occasional team over but for the most part we have been a soft touch. If we become a team that is hard to beat we will have turned a corner.

Too much too early. Then we got battered and although he could’ve done better on the second goal, have johansson to thank for the point. Shocking defensive lapses again costing us. The lack of steel in midfield too.
Very very poor after 15 mins. As bad as we have been.
Credit to Bristol city though.

At 2-0 up you could still see Midfield had gone on their winter break early. A blind man could see we were completely inadequate and would likely capitulate. It’s worrying that he did fuck all to arrest that slide. Not convinced at all so far.

We were very poor in possession tonight. Hard to see any real difference between our last couple of games and the previous few seasons.
We do have some decent players, but we don’t look anywhere near a decent team.

We were well beaten tonight but somehow didn’t lose. Going to be a long season.

No win on Saturday and it will be 1 win from 6 games.
Needs to play Phillips. Stick an extra man in midfield and potentially drop cannon.

I know it’s early doors, but none of the players look to have benefited from the coaching of Pelach so far. Tactically, tonight could have been an Alex Neil performance.

Shutting up shop at home with half an hour to play, wonderful.

Since we got relegated we’ve squandered everything and we are no further forward after all these years. The way the game played out tonight says everything about what we aren’t and nothing about what we are

Think that’s fair he talks about control but he had two central midfield players on the bench which was clearly the issue and neither got a minute

He seems OK, but our squad is bang average so what is the potential for any manager until we improve it.

He’s just a continental version of Nathan Jones with a Jacamo platinum points loyalty card for me.

Disappointing game, but, Stoke are slowly getting better and stronger, a while ago it would have been a loss
