Why? We've been wank. It's a perfectly reasonable stance.

Yet again people write off player, coaches or whatever way too soon. Pelach was written off by quite a few before the first game even happened.
You just make yourselves look silly when this sort of thing happens.
Hopefully he will continue this way because that was excellent.

Pompey are the worst team in the league. They made so many basic errors.
Their keeper was lads and dads standard.
Cant draw wider conclusions from tonight’s game.

It's not even worth arguing over.
People are swayed by emotion after a loss and after a win
Previous 2 games Walters Out! Pelach out! Cannon out!
Tonight everyone's delirious with joy
Sometimes you have to detach but then again, where's the fun in that?

We have some major bed wetters amongst our support. There was an old Geezer behind me in a tight pair of denim shorts at the Hull game. After their first goal he started "hang your head in shame Walters!" 63 minutes into new managers reign and he had made his mind up. I swear some of our "fans" would prefer us to lose just so they can moan.

Im maybe the only one not surprised at the result tonight.
Just because football is a funny old game and everyone had written this off as another loss.
It doesnt prove a lot other than football is a funny old game and thats why we keep coming back for more

I didn’t agree with some of the postings over the past week or so but guess some fans had just reached the end of their tether after years of failure and then replacing one of our better liked managers in recent years with a completely unknown quantity.
If nothing else, hopefully tonight will be a reminder to supporters that Pelach at the very least could be decent and it’ll take time to know for sure.

That's not an opinion, that's being a miserable bastard. Totally agree calling for his head was pathetic. Those first two games were crap though, very, very crap. It's perfectly reasonable opinion to hold. Doesn't mean you're some sort of hysterical mess for thinking so.

“Can’t see where a win is coming from”
“It was only Portsmouth, they’re rubbish”
I despair.

It's hard to do with football when we all care so much, but try not to get too high on the highs or too low on the lows.
We've been awful the last few weeks and there' still major concerns (in my opinion) on how the club is run from the top down, but we needed tonight. We all, to a man, want Stoke to do well - so it's all about how we follow it up now.

Let's enjoy tonight for what it is and give massive credit to the team and manager. We've got to hope this isn't another Rotherham moment but atleast we'll have the goals on repeat until Saturday.
