To be absolutely honest I think Stoke fans have lost the plot.
Pelach won’t see Christmas out judged on one game and two training sessions. FFS get a grip we are becoming an embarrassment.

If Pelach doesn't see Christmas or the end of the season, then surely Walters can't remain beyond either of those dates as well. Or are we simply going to let him have another crack at spectacularly fucking up so quickly yet again? His head is on the chopping board with this appointment surely. Obviously if it's time for Pelach to be moved on on in 2 or 3 seasons, then that's a different kettle of fish but if it's so clear that he isn't up to the job in his first 8 months, then that would suggest that Walters isn't up to the job either. The prospect of Walters sacking his choice of Head Coach before the last game of the season, let alone Christmas, is so utterly batshit I almost want it to happen to watch the fireworks (rather than on-off flashy lights). |

Since the start of last season, we have signed including loans, 40 players, had 3 managers and 2 sporting directors. No wonder we look an absolute mess.

2 training sessions and a game aren’t enough to judge him on.
He has a full week now to take a good look at the players. Wilmot, Junior and Bocat have already shown him they’re not good enough. If they start on Saturday I’ll be more concerned than I am now. But he’s got to at least have 4/5 games before my arse would start to twitch if nothing changed.
Fitness is a big problem. We were fucked after 10/15 minutes, quite embarrassing really. Needs time to get them in shape and see who’s up to it. Fuck those off who aren’t. I think he said in his interview about not being afraid to drop or tell players they’re not good enough which I quite liked, so let’s see if he sticks to it.

He is closer to the coal face than any supporter. All NP can ask from the fans is to give him a fair crack. Unfortunately, if this MB is the barometer then he has had his chance based on one game. The performance in the 2nd half on Friday was no better than the 2nd half performances under SS but fans were happy enough with SS but think NP is not up to the task. People's anger at SJW is being projected onto NP and that is unfair. Not only is it unfair it is very detrimental to the team itself as frustrations grow. Everyone needs to calm down, take a step back and give the bloke time. It will take until Xmas to turn this around. We should see signs of improvement within 6-10 games, especially if fitness is an issue. If the fans turn on NP early then I guarantee that will affect the team and we will fail. |
