Sol is our best centre mid. Not a tough competition to win I know, but he's the only one with the athleticism needed at Championship level. Other teams simply run all over us second half.
Not arsed about his age, making mistakes, or having poor games.....he should be in on merit and have the opportunities Burger and Thompson gey.

That’s where they screwed up.

Dreadful idea. The thing that struck me about the Hull game was that it looked like men v boys - Hull just looked way better conditioned and more physical, we just bounced off them. We'd get trounced every game.

I’m not sure throwing even more kids into the fray is a particularly good idea at the moment.

Thank god Rooney was at Everton and not Stoke, eh?
Sol is the only centre mid with the engine required. At this rate, he'll be tearing up Divsion 1 next year. Well he won't, as he won't be here and we'll still be watching Thompson in his place. But at least he's in his 20s......

He's far from ready for the rigours of week in week out championship matches. He's what 17?
Some of our other young talented players need a break. Bea, Million, Koumas
They look jaded to me

We certainly can't carry on with this midfield pairing , Thompson is a very limited footballer and Burger while looking decent last season is playing like an absolute fanny and can't tackle

I’m not sure throwing even more kids into the fray is a particularly good idea at the moment. Bar Koumas who shouldn’t have started no “kids” started? That was an inexperienced amd lightweight team and it showed. How is making it less experienced and even more lightweight going to improve issues in part down to inexperience and lack if physical presence? Makes no sense. Your idea that playing youngsters now so they can contribute to their full potential in 2 or 3 years tome is barking mad. They may well end up looking like league beaters but it will be in League 2.

Rooney was a generational talent that you simply couldnt ignore. Sidibe, whilst theres no doubt over his potential, could just as easily fall away as much as he could push on and establish himself at this level or higher.

I thought we should have been 2 up at half time and it wasn’t because of any of that. Just the usual shit finishing. The issue was fitness which has been issue for ages. And then the manager did nothing to combat their number 7 until it was too late. Again usual for the idiots we employ. It’s not barking mad. It’s how football works 🤣🤣🤦♂️

H Not for me, nowhere near to be honest. Prem clubs may well be sniffing but he’s far from ready for that level as he is Championship. Prem clubs do what Prem clubs do, sweep up any half decent talent from lower league clubs like a great big trawler net, see Chelsea as the prime example. Most of these youngsters snapped up by Prem clubs probably never go on to make 1st team appearances and its not long before they find themselves back down the pyramid, usually via several seasons out on loan.

Sidibe was given a start at Oxford and didn’t take his chance. Ok, he want alone in that, but we need to realise that there is an enormous difference in playing under 18s representative football and standing up to the physical rigours and demands of the championship.

He's our best midfielder by some distance. On the ball, off the ball, physically and tactically he is head and shoulders above the rest of the midfield group. It was staggering that he didn't start yesterday.

It was staggering that he didn't start yesterday. I dont see this im him at all, i really dont. I dont understand where the hype comes from. Potential most definetly, but not currently at the levels where we should be pinning all our hope on him to sort out our midfield.
