Why? Schumacher was awful. Hopefully this bloke will stick to his principles unlike that coward. Schumacher had best league win percentage of our last 6 managers

Who the hell is that This whole situation gets more bonkers by the minute. We cant keep sacking managers the club needs some stability. I'm absolutely shocked by this we are becoming a laughing stock over this it's getting ridiculous now. Why do managers who do well anywhere else always fail when they come here? There has to be something seriously wrong behind the scenes because not all the managers were bad manager Steven Schumacher is a good manager and I think Stoke will regret this . We cant keep blaming managers the players need to take some responsibility for this. I hope Steven does well wherever he goes from here it will serve Stoke right then. Crazy decision ❤🤍

The You Tube interview is excellent but the comments from fans are equally impressive

Well was wondering what we were going to do next after the abject sh*te at Oxford...this wasn't on my bingo card...but i guess we just have to embrace the absolute batshit craziness that is our club...definitely not boring

With the "Crazy World of Stoke City" being in full flow, expect him to be the manager against Fleetwood then!

Pelach and Muniesa both at Girona at the sametime, Pelach as coach. Do you think there has been a glowing recommendation from Muniesa to Walters?

Get the feeling this will either go very very good..or very very bad. I don't think there will be a middle ground of just "steady" Genius or bat shit crazy. No idea what to expect. Quite like the cut of his jib in that interview, but have been sold a dream before…remember the messiah from Blaenrhondda.

Why am I getting Nutty Nathan vibes about this one? Utter clusterfuck if true Because you're a deeply cynical man..... That's true, but if this guy comes in and loses a few games, then it will be toxic.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm just gonna trust Walters until it goes tits up. Schumacher has gone now and that's it. Walters is our man and would only have Stoke's best interests at heart. Whoever we replace Schumacher with deserves our full support until he doesn't. It's a shame because I liked Schumacher, I hope he does well elsewhere.

Nothing else has worked so we might as well give it a go! He/We should seriously consider who we bring in as coaches as I think he'll need someone with good championship experience alongside him.

Been at work all morning and just logged onto the Oatcake…..WTF? I’m in a state of shock……this is mental, what on earth has gone on? At least you’ve got some work done. This hasn’t been one of my most productive mornings.

Why? Schumacher was awful. Hopefully this bloke will stick to his principles unlike that coward. Schumacher had best league win percentage of our last 6 managers Exactly. We hired a manager with a win rate of over 50%. He took over an underperforming team left by Alex Neil and improved our win rate from 33% to 40%. Despite this progress, we've decided it's not sufficient and are now replacing him with someone who isn't considered good enough to manage Norwich City, a team below us in the Championship.

My heart wants this to be an inspired appointment. Stoke saw their chance and swooped to get their man, who then then goes on to become a club legend.
My head tells me this is some kinda jump the shark plot development lunacy.
Fortunately, if we all listened to our heads we'd have given up supporting Stoke years ago. So, the heart has it.

Bet Pep has farted in his company. Apparently he spent time with him when he was at Girona (part of the city football group). I can't comment on whether any farting occurred though.

I'm shocked about this. Quite liked Schuey and thought he was here on long term. John Coates said not so long ago that having a SS and Bae gives him hope for the future. Why such a change? We were just starting to find our new direction.
No one can say this new developement isn't exciting but its also very very worrying at the same time. And I do feel very sorry for Steven. Then again, what can we do about it? Nothing really but give the new manager our support and hope he does well.

Batshit if this is our man.
They’ll think he’s the second coming of pep, or to a lesser extent, corberan.
I’m really beginning to dislike my own team/ club. The way it’s gone so wrong is monumentally depressing.
