Interesting that at the end of both the last 2 fans forums, the last time a month ago, John Coates has said the 2 things that give him the most comfort about the future are Junho and Schuey! "With this managerial team, we're ready to lift off!" Shows you who is wearing the decision-making trousers. I think SS was OK it was his coaches that worried me Hughes looked out of his depth and Cav had only done youth stuff and looked like a pe teacher, Cohen looked bright but I bet he's well pissed! Certainly in for an interesting couple weeks that's for sure |

I’d be amazed if Ben Gibson’s insight and opinion on Pelach from his time at Norwich hasn’t played a part here in influencing Walters’ approach.

I’d be amazed if Ben Gibson’s insight and opinion on Pelach from his time at Norwich hasn’t played a part here in influencing Walters’ approach. If Walters is listening to the opinions of players in regards to decisions like this then he’s a bigger dick than I already think he is. |

Certainly a lot to unpack today! On the sacking, I'd say I'm nonplussed. I quite liked Schumacher and i don't think he'd been dealt the best hand. However, the few players he's been responsible for bringing in have been utter garbage, so i have little sympathy with his beefs about not getting more players that he wants. The defeats.....lets face it, were bad, nearly all of them riddled with a lack of purpose or identity, to the point where I'd started to feel like the wins were only coming about due to opposition incompetence. When we lose we seldom muster a shot on goal and seemed incapable of playing through the pitch. Starting 11'S increasingly looking like pot luck. It was always clear that something was off in the relationship between him and Walters. Suspect Walters would have binned him at the end of last season but that last few games had Coates bending his ear to give him a pre season to get things right. On Pelach I supposed at least it's an appointment that fits what they're trying to do, a genuine coach who should be appointed with clarity as to his involvement in the transfer market. Also, it seems there was/is a plan. Seems clear Schumacher was a goner before Saturday. That we seem to have already identified our target and set the wheels in motion straight away is encouraging. In summary...  |

If any other club in this division made this appointment you could wager that it would be a success but knowing our luck he will be sacked by Xmas followed by relegation in may.
