Scumachers statement. “It came as a huge shock to me and my family to be told I had lost my job at Stoke City FC. The coaching staff and I have worked tirelessly over the last nine months and for our journey at the club to be cut short is hugely disappointing. “Our objective last season was to keep the club in the EFL Championship. We achieved what we set out to and the way that we ended the season gave me great confidence that we could achieve this season’s objectives. “We tried to create an atmosphere where everyone enjoyed coming to work and committed to giving 100% every day. We won seven of our last ten competitive games, and started this season by winning four of the opening seven fixtures. In my opinion, after an encouraging start, we were only going to get better and I believe the squad assembled for this season will go on to do really well. I would like to thank the players for their efforts and wish them all the very best for the future. “It was clear that my vision of selecting young, hungry and energetic players to represent this great club was beginning to come to fruition. In playing the youngest ever Stoke City team in the Carabao Cup, we won the game by the highest margin away from home in 70 years. Following that feat I picked the youngest ever starting league team away at Plymouth Argyle. Unfortunately, the club have chosen to go in a different direction however, I thank the Coates family for giving me the opportunity to work at Stoke City FC. “Finally to the Stoke City FC fans. Thank you for the support you have shown my family and I over the last nine months. I do feel that we were starting to build a real connection between the supporters and the team, and I hope you were aware of how much it meant to me to be able to represent you on the touchline. “I feel that I have learned a lot about myself, both as a person and as a manager over the last nine months. I will use this experience and take some time to reflect, recharge and be ready for the next challenge.” Fucking awful decision by the club. Absolute shower of shyte. All the best Shumacher. You deserve better. This hope he proves Coates and Walters wrong in the next job. Also he has left the club in a better state than he found it an all feel for him. He deserved better! As he's been appointed welcome to the new boss. Hope your as good as others say you are!

2 Girona reserves, relegated & sacked & Spanish 4th div side about 5 years ago since then he's been a coach & at Norwich last season he wasn't even first team coach he was purely the defensive coach how has he got the job? please explain Because there’s a picture of him somewhere having a chat with Pep. And if you squint your eyes je looks a bit like Arteta. And muniesa has told wally walters he's mint. Lets go get him 😆 I hope he works out and its a master stroke but for the life of me I just can't see where the fook this has come from at all. I'd never heard of Schumacher but at least he'd won the 3rd tier in this country. Convincingly as well. This has got massive fuck up written all over it.

So does Pelach have to win more than 7 out of next 10 to keep his job? Not going to have much of a honeymoon period is he 😂 walking into his first ever head coaching job with a fanbase puzzled and disgruntled as to why he’s here in the first place.. he’d better pray he hits the ground running. Good luck Narcís… and Jonny……..

Really do feel for Schuey, statement is a touch of class but we already knew that about him anyway, no doubt that he will be a success in whatever lays ahead for him.
As for that statement from Pelach, seem really driven, knowledgeable and by all account a very sort after coach.
Welcome to the madhouse Narcis, good luck

He was doing what he had been asked to do. 7 wins in the last 10 competitive games and he gets sacked. And replaced with a total unknown. Its fucking crackers. Nuts.

Statistics hey ..league performances have been woeful. Will be interesting what Narcis does with Ennis, Gooch and a lesser extent Junior. Many have said would be good to see the results of quality coaching on the likes of Burger and Junho. Will be also good to see some work with the forwards (I really hope Cannon isn’t cursed)

Does Pelach say anything in that interview that Schumacher didn't? He even says he's ok if we're not brilliant at certain elements. The comment about defending the lead with 15 minutes to go will surely excite plenty!

Narcís Pèlach is a fucking coward and a bottle job and he has no minerals. That’s saved Bayern a job 😃 It is a name that invites silly nicknames, especially if he starts losing games. Narky Pillock? Bayern can have that one for free.😜
