You can see just by looking at this guy he’s going to be more abrasive than Schumacher, which may work with the players, but not sure as fans we typically like that much self confidence / arrogance.
As very few people wanted Schumacher gone this manager won’t get much of a bedding in period before it turns hostile if results don’t go our way.
Good luck to him, really hope he’s the one to bring us success and I’m just so fed up of constant 180 degree change in strategy from the club. What tactical ideas will he have and how will this change the squad requirements?

Not your second cousin, is he? No. Let's see if I'm right, shall we? What has gone on fish? Something behind the scenes?

There is either going to be a lot of humble pie eaten in a few months or a lot of gloating "I told you so" posts... Which will it be?

I think anyone with the internet could tell you it's as good as done lol Was done last night, or maybe last week.. my belief is that they wanted a yes man and they weren't going to get that with Ste. I really do appreciate how upset you will be feeling about this, unlike every other parting of the ways with the manager over the last 20 years this was a complete shock to pretty much everyone. Not since Gudjon has this happened where the vast majority of the fan base supported the manager and he’s been sacked. Usually the fans are at least a couple of months ahead of the club in wanting a manager gone. It is very strange, I struggle though to agree with you that the only reason Pelach is coming in is because he’s a yes man whereas SS wasn’t. Clearly there’s more gone on behind the scenes than has been made public but was it as much a shock to Steve that he was sacked as it was to the rest of us? It appeared that JW and SS would have been great ‘bedfellows’ given their similarities and shared links but maybe not? I wish him all the best mate, a genuinely likeable fella and I’m sure he will be ok and his stock will not have fallen too much. BM

Pelach needs to be given time, a rare commodity I know in this game. A new squad he knows barely nothing about and possibly only 2 training sessions before the Hull game. There will be a completely new backroom staff as well, so it won't happen overnight. Good luck to the lad, sounds knowledgeable and articulate. Enjoy the ride..

SS had me scratching my head a few times with his line ups and subs but I liked his footballing style and I’m sorry to see him gone. He earned a bit longer than he got.
Big call by Walters this appointment. Putting his own job on the line with this one.

We only ever get 'I told you so' posts on here whatever the outcome! I'm excited by this appointment and think it's a positive move. Hope he is given a bit of time by the fans to make his mark.

What is the evidence for this? Its being thrown around like its a given on here by some! It's a pretty poor assumption to make imo.

I'm excited for this. We're entering that exclusive realm of clubs that appoint relatively unknown foreign managers that the media proclaim as scholars of the game.
It's like yeah, okay so you beat us two nil but how many letters in your managers name have accents? None? I thought so.

Aslong as he doesn't play Gooch on the wing or 10 then it's a win.
I didn't mind SS and was stunned he was sacked..but at the same time some of his team selections were baffling to say the least

I hope I am wrong but this looks to be a disastrous appointment.
Schumacher deserved the benefit of the doubt. This looks to be a joke appointment. Honestly we deserve to get relegated.
I never agreed with the Oracle before but now I think change of ownership is needed, this has become ridiculous.

I just want someone too come in and coach these players. By that I mean I want someone to actually sit down and talk to the player, tell him what his job is and then coach him. For me Burger needs coaching. He looks absolutely lost, he doesn't know his role in the side. Someone needs to get a grip of him and improve him. Just imagine if a good footballing coach gets into Sol, what a player we could have on our hands ( he won't be here)
I'm actually quiet excited

Shortage of Depends undergarments in SOT imminent...
FFS, can the guy GET IN THE DOOR first?!!
What legitimate owners are out there kicking down our doors wanting to buy us?
Setting ourselves up for asset-strippers if we go that route, I guarantee. Just saying - calm the f*ck down.
