Given the immediate reaction.. guaranteed to have "oleee ole ole ole, Pelaaach Pelaaach" belting round the ground within a month as Johansson's clipping passes in behind from the halfway line

Least it's not the same old wash and repeat process. It's a bold move and a different direction and for that reason, I'm all for it!

As I see it we won't or didn't have a "manager"??
If this fella comes in (like SS) he is head coach, SJW is the DOF.
We don't have a manager? Am I right?????

One positive is that at least we're not reverting to "tried and tested" British types.
I've got no idea how it'll go but if the club have identified the bloke and are moving quickly then fair enough.

The freshly appointed narcissist sacks the manager and replaces him with a bloke called Narcis.
I’m half expecting Frank Spencer to come flying through one of the windows.

Appalling day for Stoke City FC.
Is the criteria to have a voice similar to Pep?

He didn’t stick with his principles and the owner has picked up on that. There’s no need to werrit over a coach who didn’t coach his players very well and showed he was a bottle job. The worry is the idiots making the decision. But people as ever don’t want to see that.

It’s not though. There’s toys being thrown from lots of prams because we’ve sacked someone who had 3 good games.

A moyes would have been a great appointment. I could be completely wrong but I don't think we've got the squad for Moyes to be a success unfortunately. Think he needs more experienced grafters to be a success which we'd be lacking for someone like him to work.

Any update on credentials to even be considered? • Be unknown so it looks like Walters has in-depth knowledge when in reality he’s probably just put all assistant coaches in a random name generator and done a best of three spins. • Bow down at the altar of Bosun Lawal • Don’t be a Labour voter • Accept that you WILL be sacked in 6 months time after finally getting some of your own players in

I think i've reached the view long ago that John Coates is clueless. Walters is clearly there to guide him - he's running the club ffs. The club has been in a perpetual slump ever since he took over... but you'll get shot down for saying it. I couldn't give a shit about fanzones... i want success on the pitch.

What would you have the club do though? Genuine question no bait If Coates is to stay he should hire consultants to find someone to run the football operation that match what he wants from football. I have no idea what that is. So for me I’d go to them and find me a technical director and head coach that do these things: Play young players Develop players for improving and resale Plays attacking football Primarily uses 4231 Etc And then hire from there. I think it’s been too bitty and ultimately I just think that John and his Dad are a bit crap at appointing football managers. Their heart is in the right place but football has moved on. Now this could be the signal we’ve done this? It’s outside the box for sure but my doubts over Walters and JC don’t allow me to think that. We just don’t seem to learn.
