A valid point raised earlier on Radio Stoke about Chris Cohen. Appointed over the summer amid something of a fanfare and sacked along with all the other coaches after just five games? I feel SS knew he was on the ropes at the start of the season. Maybe appointing Chris was a way to try and help him improve. It didn’t seem to be working so he’s gone as well. They also had a bloke on who interviewed Pelach and had nothing but good things to say about him. Was a good listen. |

So unclear how their paths would've crossed. If it's Walters curating the core of the coaching team, seems a bit weird, with him maybe just bringing this keeper coach? |

You’d hope he’d employ ones that have the same approach. And with this bloke not having been a manager and having his own entourage then I dont see why it’s an issue. Who keeps being more accurate than most of you and you still don’t learn. It’s a remarkable skill a lot of you have to not learn. And then wonder why the club makes the same mistakes. John Coates is wonderful. Schumacher won’t be sacked by November. And it’s all fine. I really do wonder about how people are so naive. It’s more that we don’t treat the real world like Footie Manager. You can’t just change the owners. They own the club, until you put your hand in your pocket and buy them out your only course of action is to parrot the same thing on here. When will you learn? Naive? Yes you are. |

Bar the calibre of the bloke doing it all. Even first time managers normally bring their own men that they have a personal relationship with and can trust though. If he's incapable of raising an entourage of the necessary quality, fair enough. And we don't know if he's had any say with Whitehead. At least they both have some experience working with Wagner with his style, but without that personal relationship, it's not ideal if they're going to be working together/talking for the first time tomorrow morning. |
