I'm personally hoping they're announced today! We can't have Walters on the touchline for the Fleetwood game... A new manager will be announced before Fridays game. It’s clear that someone else has been lined up. Shawcross is in temporary charge for tomorrow’s game. |

Has he even done that bad of a job this season? From the outside looking in, he’s done okay so far this season. Seems a harsh sacking unless there’s been a huge fallout behind the scenes. Penny for your thoughts on us starting Lynden Gooch as a number 10… |

What is the definition of insanity something like to keep doing the same thing but expect different results , this seems to just keep happening whoever is working there, the one consistent factor in our decline is the rise to power of John Coates it may or may not be his fault but he is the last man standing in the circus that our club has now become .

And the fact we’ve literally just had an Int break. It's clearly a knee jerk, emotional decision. Walters has form being an erratic hot head across nearly all his career. All the hallmarks for a successful Sporting Director!!! Not! I’m not a big Jon Walters fan but there has definitely been some concerning performances already this season. West Brom, Watford & Oxford we were very poor with little threat for large chunks of the game. You could even add Coventry to that where in the second half we barely got out of our half (despite scoring and winning that game). I think the timing is horrific, but I can see the logic behind it, as there are some big concerns about what he’s churned out. |

After listening to his post match interview where he kept saying "I don't know why we played that way" The board probably thought the same as me you haven't a clue how to change things, good riddance to was to far out of his depth In any line of work, if you utter that phrase like that when questioned about something gone awry, especially in public, you'd be gone. |

The new man will essentially be a yes man to Walters, dont expect a big name as they tend to come with big personalities and that would only lead to another clash with out DoF

There are about 15 teams in the Championship whose fans think their teams should be around the top 6. Guess what most of them will be wrong. Since relegation we have been an utter shambles and I thought we were starting to make progress. Sacking managers every 12 months is a recipe for disaster especially when it is done during the season. We never learn. Works for WBA, Watford.....keeping a manager that isn't quite there seems to be the thing not to do. |

Certainly didn’t see this coming at this time but I have said on a number of occasions that his game management when we are losing a game has been woeful.
Watford was a nightmare, the subs against W Brom we’re just thrown on with them not seeming to know where they were playing and Saturday was the same with three thrown on again at once in the second half with no game plan.
Don’t like to pick on players but what told him that Gooch as an 8 would work.
