Schmacher wont be here come Christmas, and Cannon wont score more than 5 goals.
That was as bad as anything last season, and the boo boys( Laurent and Baker ) nowhere to be seen. Their keeper hasnt had a save to make, far to slow in possesion.
Quite clear that the likes of Sidibe need to be introduced slowly, he looked nowhere near ready today.

Way too soon to write Cannon off on the back of that - he didn’t have a sniff all game thanks to terrible build up play.

Just watched Burnley Leeds. Obviously they are light years ahead with player quality but we have a long way to go to catch up. Some of our players are no where near. WILMOT. Miles off the standard. Burger terrible, we won't be anywhere near the playoffs until our midfield can compete and we're no where near. We do have some good young players but the wingers need to be two footed or they will always be average. In my humble opinion.

We're still relegation candidates for me, nothing I've seen so far has convinced me we're capable of finishing in the top half.
Just hope it was a one off today because we need a performance that is at least 100% better than that one.

Nevertheless none of them deserve the abuse they get from so called supporters. You all need to get to grips and realise that it is going to take time to gel. We lost 1-0 not 6-0.

Owners, Managers, Coaches, Attitudes and Results. While our blinkered approach makes us believe we are making progress we are now faced with the reality that OXFORD can easily beat us. I'd already accepted that this season would be really up and down based on us having a young side and a young manager/head coach.
We're miles off being promoted right now but I'm ok with that if I see a young side progressing and learning. It's been a long time since we had genuinely talented lads coming through.

The problem however is we have a template for how our seasons begin over the last 6 or so years and naturally some fans are starting to see it again. But I have faith this is different. There's some young heads in that team and a fair few new additions so the old cliché about gelling is correct. They need a bit of time. And I do really think we'll hit our stride soon and get ourselves on a run of good performances 🙏 |

Disagree I think this will be a season of transition that sees us finish mid table. We are building something special but it doesn’t happen overnight. We’ll have a few more of these performances throughout the season mixed in with some quality and excitement Schumacher hasn’t even been here a year yet and is still finding his feet. Today was crap and won’t be a one off unfortunately but eventually with this manager in charge, we will get somewhere |

We've rebuilt the team, he hasn't just bought in a few players, there are other players to come in as well, 5 of the starting line up weren't here last season and we played a 17 year old for his first start in the championship, Oxford have beaten better teams at home this season by bigger margins, we weren't very good and looked like a team that haven't played together.
