I can’t get to as many games as I would like to due to my wife being disabled but I couldn’t believe how bad we were yesterday.
As I have said before,our midfield is awful,no creativity and no pace,our defenders cannot do the basics and the whole performance was lacklustre and totally uninspiring.
Another long hard season ahead of us if that shit show was anything to go by.

We do but I guess that's no different to the last few seasons we've spent at this level? The key difference is that we've got a really young side with some genuine talent coming through, rather than a load of overpaid, past it players. I know which one I'd prefer (if the choice is that black and white, which it usually isn't 😂). I agree is a lot of talent there but the vital , ugly ball winning player we needed we didn't sign. Vital in this league Isn't that Pearson? |

The trouble with Pearson he gets stupid Bookings, then we end up playing with 10 Then manage him. If he picks up stupid bookings take him off. Tell him when to foul. Get him fit so he doesn't have to foul as much. I know it's probably cloud cuckoo land but it's surely worth a try. Fuck knows what he's costing a week. |

Today was the wrong game for Sidibe on the back of the international games. He should have gone with Thompson, Burger and Moran….. There are people on here saying we should be playing the likes of Sidibe because they are the future but when we lose games in part because the youngster in question isn't quite there they are nowhere to be seen but when they get (rightly) dropped they will be back calling the manager out for not playing them. It's nothing to do with the internationals the fact is he isn't ready and if we play players on the basis of developing them we will weaken the side and lose bit no-one is prepared to admit that's the consequence of that approach to selection. |
