Had people behind me asking me to sit down today, sorry but you can fuck off.. who travels to an away game to just sit in silence, it’s tinpot and looks shite. Best part of it was they was all stood up at half time 😂😂 It’s football not tennis, stand up and support the lads Anyway what a day. UTMP 🔴⚪️ I haven’t been able to attend a match with my aging father for many years because he got sick of the experience being ruined by people like you. So cheers for that. Glad you and your friends had fun anyway, that’s the main thing 👍🏼 Same as those who chuck beer in the concourse at half time also I mean if you want a pie and a chat with other Stoke fans you could do it before the match or wait until full time to have a piss if you don’t want to get drenched They’re only having a laugh apparently

Or you could get one of the empty beer bottles, fill it full of halftime piss and chuck it back at them and join in the fun in the concourse

Reluctantly, well seriously reluctantly I went to a Kylie concert and my wife insisted that the people in front us “sat down” stating “my husband can’t see”, honestly I could crawled up my own arse when she said it as loads of lads turned around and gave me daggers. I'm more interested in what a load of lads were doing at a Kylie concert. The lads in question were gay. Questionable wanted to crawl up his own arse cus he thinks it’ll stop them getting there first.

I was pointing out that statements like this, on Social Media, are not necessarily perceived as harmless and amusing as the poster intended. The current powers that be, seem to have an appetite for pursuing undeniable advocaters of Social Injustice. Clothing it as satire, doesn't make it any less damaging to the intended targets, or acceptable.(Sorry for bringing politics here) It wasn't clothed as satire, it WAS satire. The intended target was the original poster, NOT disabled people. If someone doesn't understand the intention/context of a joke and gets offended, well that's a shame but offense does not (or should not) give you a right to attempt to impose censorship on another's speech. You have a right to be offended, but you don't (or at least shouldn't) have a right not to be offended. I wouldn't worry, TheHartshillBadger is quite openly full on disability. Oggy will be along soon to sort it out just like he did the mustelid.

Exactly, it's nothing more than they deserve, the ambulatory pricks. I make it a personal mission of mine to tip wheelchair users out of their seats whenever I see them (in any situation, not just at away games). It's the only way they'll learn. theres disabled sections for supporters who need them and there is the front 1 or 2 rows if you want to sit Unless they are sold out of course. Like the back row was sold out for you. You just got tickets elsewhere and stood anyway. They are entitled to get them elsewhere and expect to sit.

Can the club sell tickets in sections with regard to class eg us in the upper tier get the front two rows at away games where we can sit and analyse the match maybe even unroll our blankets then those in premium seats next 7 rows behind and then the rest at the back.

But that's just what seems to be happening currently, by those who seem to be officially commissioned to police and identify any social media content that may cause distress. This I glean from recent newspaper reports of the prosecution of such cases.(please don't ask me for particular references points). Dressing derision as fun and harmless satire, may be acceptable to you. But others may have the view that it's a form of bullying. You have the right, as we all do,to your own opinion, but no entitlement to impose your viewpoint onto others. That's my opinion.

I view it as an outrage and a cataclysm. Just look how it's emboldened someone like you. You've come into this thread, completely misinterpreted an unambiguously satirical post that was DEFENDING the people you think are being targeted, and then used the fact that our ideologically captured police force have become literal thought-police to intimidate the original commenter into deleting their comment; and all because you were mistakenly offended. That's amazing. Self-awareness clearly isn't your strong suit.

I was approached by someone just the other day for parking in a disabled bay but have a blue badge. Had the ...we'll you shouldn't be driving a two seater sports car then !! I think roughly translated as...I was caught out challenging you for parking in a disabled bay and didn't realise you were entitled to as don't look the part and now look daft . Don't assume Not a great post overall as I think seats are generally for sitting on , wild theory I know and not everyone wants to stand and make gestures at people 30 yards away etc and act the lad See your point to an extent though but the fact that you didn't get back row tickets in time falls on yourself

Yeah, fuck the elderly and those with mobility issues! Cunts. That will be you one day sadly i cant stand for more than 20 mins before back pain kicks in can no longer go and watch Stoke because of people standing so i fall into the category of elderly [72] so i must be a cnut then

If any old person or someone with mobility issues asks me to sit down I just abuse them verbally, then take them down into the concourse under the pretence of buying them a coffee, and just leather them senseless. They're then given an appointment for the statue for the next home game where I promise to finish the job i've just started Trust me, they don't ask again. Exactly, it's nothing more than they deserve, the ambulatory pricks. I make it a personal mission of mine to tip wheelchair users out of their seats whenever I see them (in any situation, not just at away games). It's the only way they'll learn. 'Clams,i think you're just the man to fill the void left by Malcolm Clarke at the FSA.....😉

Why does standing or sitting create such a divide among the masses??

I’ve been going away few seasons now When the kids were younger always bought tickets at the front I would say first 6 rows on average would be seated Now they are older they can see standing and we go whenever Can’t say as we ever had any problems Doesn’t it say on the website when you order tickets those wishing to sit should buy 1st few rows? Surely then everyone would be happy? That’s correct and the ticket office are extremely helpful Problems can occur when the very last seats available are in these rows and the situation re sitting isn’t explained Safe standing will be increasing throughout the leagues Safe sitting should also be an option Maybe offer to change places with the person who’s view you are blocking

Haven't been away for a few years now but could it be organised that the first ten rows are for sitting.? Or something like that. 10 rows?? More like 1 or 2. How many away fans do you see sitting down at our place? Where, in the new safe standing section ?

Reeks of how society is turning into self entitled twats all the time.

Thought the club sold restricted mobility tickets over the phone on first day of sales. In those areas you must sit.
Some of those fans are some of our most loyal fans, so please grow up if you've called them out for not being 'loyal'.
