The young lads did very well tonight which is great to see. It’ll help with confidence but knowing Stoke it’ll be a case of Laurent for Sidibe, Manhoef for Tezgel and Gibson for Dixon. It’s hard not to want to see Bae and Million starting but unfair on the lads they might replace. Tough call for SS and I think he’ll face criticism whatever he does.

It’s ever so good that the only thing I grumble about is picking up some knock of sushi at marks n Spencer’s only to find the wasabi and ginger in the bottom, the soy source was well declared mind. Hope the result happens satdee, if eating sushi I’ll rummage in the bottom of the tub first.

Another great night for the club that shows the future is bright.
That's the sort of team that should be playing in the cup, my concern being we have too many inexperienced and lightweight players for a Championship season.

It’s a fantastic win but as usual people are jumping to all sorts of conclusions - there is so little resemblance between these cup games and the gritty reality of Championship fixtures that they really should be viewed in isolation.

We were too methinks! Besides Dixon, Tezgel and Mmaee who probably won’t feature much when we’re back to strength I’d say most of our 11 will play a fair bit this season. If they play as well as they did tonight then it creates a nice headache for SS. |
