Always great to get an away win. It was an enjoyable game of football to watch. To be honest though we only won in the end because Manhoef can shoot. It could have ended up a win, draw or loss. And Plymouth look pretty nailed on for relegation at the moment. Ill enjoy the win tonight but also not get too buzzing and ahead of ourselves. Theres a LOT we need to improve on to be competitive. During all the bedwetting after the last league games I wasn't freaking out because I think we're not very far off tbh. There's tons of potential in this squad. I'm fully expecting a mixed bag of results as we try and work it out and maybe it'll go to shit, but it's actually an exciting coach and squad.

Great and deserved 3 points. Think we’ll get better too with Lawal and cannon to come in. Thought the fullbacks were both excellent today especially Bocat. We need to enjoy Million whilst he’s here. Superb player destined for the PL. Been a great week. As long as we keep fit I love the direction we’re going. Young hungry players not after a last payday.

Cheers for the comments stokeymad and terryconroysmagic. Very disappointing, I thought the team was set up for him to flourish today. Sounds like I fucked up because I honestly thought there was a good player in there. I wouldnt say he doesnt care, I think thats a bit unfair. However he is way slower in mind and body as the rest of the attacking players and he seems to play at a totally different pace. Today he wasnt awful but next to all the fast paced players we have he really stuck out like a sore thumb a bit. Watching the speed of Koumas up front just kind of made Mmae look a bit shit to be honest. And I do like Mmae

So we dropped the single points we earned v Brom and Watford last year. But have turned two defeats last year into wins.
I had us with 5 points from our first 4 and we have 6.
We are cooking.

Bocat MOM Has had Whittaker buried in the butt end of his pocket That's fantastic to hear! I thought he had something about him from the first games but definitely had some worries. A bit like Mmaee when he first came, but it sounds like Mmaee didn't impress again? Hopefully, the manager has recovered from the brain fart of the WBA game? Playing him as a left sided centre half ranks as bad a decision as anything seen down there?! As a dedicated left back, the bloke is brilliant Schuey, please don’t underestimate the players you have at your disposal now. Go to win every game and fuck the opposition!

Bocat man of the match, take a bow son, Johansson had a great game also He did so well considering he had no help at all and Whittaker was happy to go inside outside. Add in his forward running as well and he’s MOM for me too. As he gets more used to this league I can see him being more than decent.

Disappointed with meaee. Won't be missed now cannon's here. Thought he did OK. Not as good as the majority but did fine. Let’s not forget he’s had many games either.

Junho has been out of sorts so far this season. It's his second game back after a month long injury... Same for Mmaee, he has been out a lot longer than a month

Well plaed the lads. Persevered and got our reward. We still defend a little too narrow and leave to much room down the flanks but I'm pretty sure we can work it out and position the defence a little better.

True, but walking in the middle of the park when you've just lost the ball is criminal. I get the impression the team just pass him by.

Junho has been out of sorts so far this season. Hes probably shattered, think he played almost 2 years non stop, had this summer off bit still ended up playing in games for Korea. To many games for him I'm afraid. Just hope his body doesn't give up and he picks up a big injury. The lad needs a proper break.

Thought Junho was more of a threat on the left, which I'll reiterate, has been his best position in a Stoke shirt.

Thought Junho was more of a threat on the left, which I'll reiterate, has been his best position in a Stoke shirt. Junho was fine and carries the ball so well. Glides across the ground. Bocat excellent against Whittaker, their main threat. Million man of the match for me. Thought he was brilliant all game, fast and strong. Battered his full back. Could have shot more

1 point off the playoffs, a home tie vs Fleetwood for a place in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup, and still a little way off our strongest line up...mustn't grumble Stokies

Mmaee will be lucky to get much playing time now we have Cannon.
Mmaee only tries when the ball is played to his feet, other than that he looks like he couldn't be arsed.

When we got Junho on the ball he looked so comfortable . Final ball all round was poor today as we wasted so many good positions V a poor side but we often lost these games before.
Still light in midfield but players to come in there after the break perhaps.
Million is a mighty fine footballer. So Shaqiri when he gets on the left foot
Pilgrims Progress I guess is a book about going to league 1 under the guidance of a fat , beardy bloke who defrocks the elderly of the village

Watershed game for the boys today. Wayne Rooney’s Plymouth are exactly the sort of team we have to overcome if we’re going to be taken seriously in this league. Reasonably pleased with the start with three either way games (Coventry, WBA and Plymouth) one where we were brilliant and one where we were totally outclassed. Honestly believe we’re now on the right lines.

Many Similar performances by us have previously resulted in defeats. The “Healthy” mix of decent Youth and Experience is a formula that may pay dividends in the long run. I’m loving the lack of tolerance for bang average pretenders (Campbell, Baker, Laurent and Johnson etc). If we could swap out Ennis, Thompson, Wilmot, Pearson and Mmae for better that would be outstanding. Are we potentially a slow simmering top 6 Club? Here’s Hoping.
