Johannson 5 - not that much to do but ok. One or two wobbles.
Junior 5 - Did ok but offered nothing going forward
Gibson 6 - Reliable but ok
Wilmot 6 - Ditto Gibson
Bocat 5 - actually ok but had no protection from midfield
Jord 5 - Soild if unspectacular
Laurent 5- Ditto Jord
Gooch 3 - Not a LWB liability in defence at fault for 2 goals IMO
Koumas 7 - did everything right but manager killed us by putting him on wing
Million 7- Assist and most creative spark. Disappointed he was taken off.
Junho 5- some nice movement and probing but not 100% fit.
Moran 3- Non existent
Ennis 3 - workrate and press, but can’t see a goal in him at all
Baker 3 - not enough time but woeful
Berger 4- Off the pace and poor touch
Mmaee 3- Non existent

Johannson 4, another crucial mistake! Junior 5, not too bad defensively. Gibson 7, played well. Wilmot 7, good game. Bocat 6, all in all decent. Thompson 6 Laurent 6 Gooch 2, one of the worst performances ever witnessed by a Stoke player. GET RID! Koumas 7, maybe we already have the right striker in our squad! Manhoef 6, very good assist, but should have scored again! Junho 5, started well but faded. Moran 4, not much impact. Ennis, Not on long enough. Baker 4 Berger 4 Mmaee 4 Schumacher 2, first of all for starting with Goocg and also for keeping the same dreadful player on the pitch for too long!  |

Million 6 - great pass for the equaliser but then missed an open goal.
Can’t be bothered to do the rest as they were all fairly abject albeit not helped at all by the way the team was set up.

Tchamadeu - constantly out of position (4)
Gibson - some poor passing (4.5)
Wilmot - meh (5)
Bocat - ditto Tchamadeu (4)
Thompson - ok (5.5)
Laurent - meh (5)
Manhoef - missed a sitter but assisted and at least offers us something (6)
Junho - garbage (4)
Gooch - fuck off (3)
Koumas - superb, amazing to see a striker get in behind (8)
Moran - looked like a kid from the U16s (4)
Burger - took forever to do anything, and usually went backwards (4)
Mmaee - why bother (4)
Ennis - looks a non-league player (4)
Baker - a joke (3.5)
I don’t give sympathy points for players out of position or asked to do a job they’re not able to (inverted full backs for example) but a decent side would have torn us to pieces today.

Generally a really bland performance with only Koumas and Gibson who I felt looked up for it. Biggest issue isn't the players but the system, it just doesn't suit them and they look lost.

Even worse when they don't offer their own assessment. Everybody sees a different game. |

Not panicking, but the head coach needs to get to work. We have the players they just need the right formation and waking up !

Johansson 6.5 - didn't have a lot to do but didn't do it that well
Tchamadeu 6 - defended ok and tried to get forward but had no impact
Gibson 7 - solid
Wilmot 7 - solid
Bocat 5.5 - see Tchamadeu but didn't stop their winger on multiple occasions
Thompson 5 - too lightweight and they came through the middle too often
Laurent 5 - went missing for large chunks of the game and didn't impose or assert himself
Manhoef 7 - pure class for the assist, didn't offer much else but tried at least
Junho 5 - Anonymous and off the pace. Doesn't look fit
Gooch 4.5 - see Thompson but actively gave the ball away multiple times (in fairness it's not his natural position so blame can't be put at his door)
Koumas 7.5 - tenacious and ALWAYS looking to get in behind and get a shot away. Could have had a hat trick. Once Junho is fit, him and Manhoeff could feed this kid beautifully.
None of the subs had any impact. Burger still looks off the pace and good to see him dropped for a game. Mmaee put himself about a bit when he came on, he adds a bit of much needed strength and quality to the side. Need him back asap. Him and Koumas up front together would be ace.

Gooch 3 - Not his day at all, involved in both of WBAs goals
Koumas 8 - *MOTM a bright spark, almost scored a hattrick
Million 6- good assist but missed a huge sitter
Junho 6- one of the better players but not in his best yet
Moran 4- did almost nothing
Ennis 4 - as above
Baker 5 - best sub today
Berger 4- not good
Mmaee 5- Not our worst by any means, room for improvement though
Too many just OK players, Koumas was the only one who had a good game.

Hard work trying to build a team with little physical presence in the championship. Just that one physical presence to create chaos for the others to profit from would make a huge difference. |
