Johansson - 6 - Must have thought he'd left dodgy defenders behind joining Stoke.
Shambles - 2 - Out of his depth (at the moment?) in the Championship, not got a clue how to defend, so don't pick him again.
Gibson - 6 - Forming a decent partnership with Wilmot.
Wilmot - 6 - Solid, but has to cover for Shambles.
Bocat - 3 - Ditto for Shambles, but not as rubbish..... Only just. Extra point for the goal line clearance.
Thompson - 4 - Hard to play well alongside Laurent.
Laurent - 2 - Garbage again, taken over the mantel of "can't be arsed' from Campbell.
Manhoef - 6 - Lacks pace go past players, but moments of skill...... Apart from the sitter.
Junho - 5 - Not match sharp, but tried, unlike a few of the team around him.
Gooch - 2 - Headless chicken from the 1st minute, out of position and Bocat behind him didn't help.
Koumas - 9 - Outstanding, and so young. Makes the other players efforts embarrassing in comparison.
Subs
Moran - 4 - Not sure if there's a player in him, to early to judge when surrounded by garbage.
Burger - 3 - Slowed play down too much and wasted possession..... Thinks he's Glen Hoddle and he's not.
Mmaee - 2 - Waste of time bringing him on, looked disinterested.
Ennis - 2 - Ditto Mmaee, Pity Barnsley if they sign him but he will have found his level.
Baker - 3 - Must wonder why he's behind Laurent, looked hacked off.

Johannson 4, another crucial mistake! Junior 5, not too bad defensively. Gibson 7, played well. Wilmot 7, good game. Bocat 6, all in all decent. Thompson 6 Laurent 6 Gooch 2, one of the worst performances ever witnessed by a Stoke player. GET RID! Koumas 7, maybe we already have the right striker in our squad! Manhoef 6, very good assist, but should have scored again! Junho 5, started well but faded. Moran 4, not much impact. Ennis, Not on long enough. Baker 4 Berger 4 Mmaee 4 Schumacher 2, first of all for starting with Goocg and also for keeping the same dreadful player on the pitch for too long!  What mistake did the keeper make? Are you suggesting he shouldn’t have attempted to get something on the cross and shuffled across his line to attempt saving the header? |

All about opinions and Im inclined to agree with you on Gooch and Junior I generally thought Bocat was ok though, including his amazing goalline clearance. Can’t be arsed. The FB’s are getting slaughtered for playing to instruction. Neither made any costly mistakes but both were hung out to dry in a system that asks them to defend narrow and the whole team seem confused as to who is meant to be defending the flanks which is costing us dear. Imo it’s unreasonable for designated forwards to be part of your basic defensive structure. I thought Gooch was exceptionally poor, I’m still very unconvinced by the keeper. That apart I think the management deserves more criticism than the players. I don’t like seeing confused players.

The full back positions and how they are being asked to play is a major issue.
West Brom today and Watford last week got behind the defence time after time in wide areas.
I can see it, the half wit who sits behind me can see it but for some reason our coach can't.
Quite worrying.

Going off the scores on here Im probs in the minority I also thought Bocat was ok until he hit the wall after about 65 minutes. Thereafter he was crap. Not Junior or Gooch crap, but crap all the same. I was amazed he stayed on |

Most keepers in this league would have tipped that over the bar. He was slow to react or in the wrong position or two inches too short 😁 |

For their first he comes way too early to the the first post instead of staying back to control the situation. I honestly think Iverson would have collected their first without much trouble.  |

I thought Mmaee looked promising when he came on. Would have preferred to keep Koumas in the middle with him as Ennis doesn't link he just runs. I was surprised at how often Mmaee got a head on the ball and I think he could possibly play the role behind Koumas with Bae returning to the left.

Im bordering on done with this club.
Season ticket holder since 74.
Seen Hudson,Greenhoff,Dez Backos,John Clarke etc.
Never though since Brian Little Alan Ball teams have i seen such lethargy in a team.
In respect we didnt have a pot to piss in then.
Now i watch the likes of Laurent,Junior,Baker,Vidigal,Mmaee,Wilmot etc enjoying the best wages,training facilities and being cowards on the pitch.
Shameful and im as good as done.

Junior 2 has no idea what he is being asked to do

Bocat 3 can clearly play LB : the coach should play him there
Thompson 4 part of an out gunned, out coached midfield
Laurent 3 played like we were 4 up: no urgency, looked totally pissed of last half hour
Jun Ho 7
Manhoef 6 Not helped by Junior constantly taking his space ( just seen highlights and had to take one off- shocking miss on the follow up)
Gooch 2 everyone in the ground can see he is not suited to whatever role the coach had asked him to play
Koumas 9 inspired
Burger 3 looks totally pissed off
Baker 3 looks like he’s been told he has no future here
Mmaee 2 see Baker
Ennis 2 makes Jacob Brown look like Johan Cruyff
