Understand their thinking, although I do think it's opened the door to risk of future manipulation.. Another gripe for me is the fact 4 of the seeded teams are guaranteed a home tie... to have the excuse of European fixtures is one thing but to insist on being at home against a minnow is purely to give the big team the advantage, They didn’t insist on it. It was drawn. The first 4 balls from the big 6 bowl were guaranteed a home tie.(all other teams not in the big 6 were in a different bowl). it was pre organised to give them home advantage

No, the big 6 teams were in their own bowl. It was decided to draw 4 teams out of that bowl first for each fixture, thus ensuring 4 of the big 6 teams would be home.

Yes, but they had previously done the draw to see who would be home and away. Yes, they had a pre-draw for each of the 6 teams and each had a chance on being home or away. the fact 4 were home is down to chance. However, the unfairness is that none of the 6 could face each other and therefore knock out a big team - and they were all guaranteed a tie against a lower team

Nice draw but the whole thing is a farce Seeding is used in many/most sports to keep interest alive and postpone big clashes to the later rounds. Do you really want to go to a cup final that pits Port Vale against Crewe because all the big teams knocked each other out before the last remaining on had a brain fart in the semi? You want to see a pig's ear of a draw, look at the most recent Rugby World Cup. Scotland had almost zero chance of progressing despite being ranked 6th in the world and having their best team for many years.

In what world would you ever see a Vale v Crewe Final whatever the draw arrangement??? We have had cup draws without seedings for over a century, how often have we seen Cup Finals between 2 lower league teams??? Furthermore, it’s contrived Cup Finals between the elite clubs are getting boring imho. It’s usually Cup Finals featuring underdogs which can be the most memorable.

Is there official confirmation about when this match will take place, can't see anything anywhere, I need make arrangements.
Is there a legal requirement to how cheap you can sell adult tickets? cause it would be nice to get a few in, regardless of opposition/competition.

Why is it nonsense? No different to playing Saturday then Tuesday which everyone does all the time. QPR and Luton did it this weekend just gone. Out of curiosity, when else should we play? Thursday the following week so we have to play Thursday then Saturday? People moan when fixtures get changed last minute, so this has been addressed and fixtures moved in advance, then moaning that Tuesday and Friday is too much when its virtually the same as the difference between Saturday and Tuesday. Its not really tv rules all, lets be realistic, clubs want money, so the fact they want money rules this. Don't take the money would be the easy option, but then we wouldn't really have much of team then

Stevens yes, maybe Gallagher, not the other two Shuey said "Michael Rose, we are looking at the Oxford game" before the Plymouth match, so you'd imagine he might get a run out midweek in the cup? Gallagher 'in September' according to Sentinel but that could obviously mean any time up to Boro on the 28th.

Very good pricing that👏👏 I’m not quite sure why your ticket can’t be uploaded to your season ticket though for this fixture🤔

Don’t know why some are complaining about a Tuesday and Friday game. We have eight more instances between now and the new year where we have games with a three day gap, and always have done. Think of all the light shows we can enjoy 😀

Love a night home game. Always feel we have a better chance of winning, generally fewer away fans, under lights. Bring them on.
