Really interesting signing this one and I wonder if he is seen as more of a 6 or an 8?
When I look at the numbers in midfield, particularly if we bring Cundle in as well, I struggle to see how he gets into the team, or possibly even onto the bench, unless he is somehow seen as a Thompson upgrade? Given his career so far I’d find that hard to imagine though.
If he’s more of an 8, then you’d think he’d be behind Burger, Lawal, Moran and possibly Cundle. That is without mentioning Sidibe who I’d definitely like to be seeing coming off the bench regularly as a minimum.
Either way I think I’d prefer Cundle as he would provide genuine high quality competition for Moran, whereas it seems Seko’s role could be covered by any of Thompson, Burger, Lawal, Sidibe or Pearson (who I’d completely forgotten about until now).

I do think people have the right to be a little unsure about this one...at a time when we have lost experienced midfielders and are replacing them with a lad who has limited game time in Japan at 26. No. The transfer team have stepped up and delivered some terrific signings in the last few weeks. At what point do they get some credit and faith from the miserables. I aint miserable just realistic. For every Junho or Million there's and Ennis and a Lleris. |

Why doubt him and say he isn't upto standard when nobody actually knows? Absolutely stupid to write someone off without reason. The fact is nobody knows how he will do. He could turn out to really suit this league and be good for us. He could be shit. We don't know. So why bother putting an opinion out based on something nobody has any idea about. |
