Hindsight sways that, though. Wasn't it around £15m? For someone who was consistently the best CB in the league; often linked with Spurs/Everton; had a great World Cup - even against Messi That's more than Collins did, albeit Collins is a bit younger I thought we'd have got 20m for him stoke fans do tend over value their players tbh Massively, I’d be gobsmacked if they got anymore than 12m for bae

Bidace 🙏 Although it wouldn’t surprise me if they fancied Brown again, he’s about as Jon Walters lite as you can get. No chance it’s Bidace so imagine it will be Brown. WCH said that most people welcome this persons return, not all of us. Bidace everyone would welcome back. Bidace wasn't overly popular when he was here before as he only showed glimpses of what he's capable of. Hardly anyone moaned when he moved on to Cardiff after loan spell with us. & Villa are playing weird games with players at the moment. They've re-signed Archer and selling him on again! Bidace has been technically recalled from Hull after Villa had satisfied their financial sustainability obligations! He had an awesome pre season last year & he still didn't feature in Emerys plans. Perhaps sames happened now and they're happy to loan him out again if don't think he'll feature much? If Emery needs squad space for new additions he wouldn't hesitate in loaning Bidace out again..

stoke fans do tend over value their players tbh Massively, I’d be gobsmacked if they got anymore than 12m for bae I think fans are underestimating It was his first ever season in English football His Nike deal and fan base in S. Korea is an attraction for Prem clubs He's 20/21 and already shown how quickly he can adapt and improve - physically as well

i am all for signing Stansfield, but lets not go over board on him i know he knocked a few in for brum last season but did we not sign a lad named Berahino, who bagged a few for Albion look how he turned out, players have purple patches does not mean the do it all the time,

John Walters said at the fans forum, they hadn't got 8 mill to spend on a player Which may turn out to be complete bollocks if they go out and spend over £8M on a number of players. Then the answer is we don’t want to spend £8M on one player. It will be quite a surprise if Stansfield moves for significantly less than that (£5M would be a massive surprise to me and a real bargain) which would take our total spend well over it.

Stansfield is a Devonian same as Sam Gallagher.
I expect we will start offering clotted cream and scones in the Boothen Quarter.

Tough start in life as his Dad, Adam, had terminal cancer and passed. Adam is an Exeter City legend. There’s a stand named after him and a school. When Jay played at Plymouth for Brum he got vile abuse about his Dad. I think he scored and got booked for celebrating. He had a season at Exeter on loan. Got a hat trick in his last game. V raw then but you could see a player (not that I know anything. I was convinced Roger Johns was the new Garth. ). Anyway from what I know he’s a good lad with a brilliant work ethic. On good money at Fulham.
