Hindsight sways that, though. Wasn't it around £15m? For someone who was consistently the best CB in the league; often linked with Spurs/Everton; had a great World Cup - even against Messi That's more than Collins did, albeit Collins is a bit younger I thought we'd have got 20m for him He is badly 1 paced. Will never make a prem CB, the game is simply too quick. We got a good price. He'd be fine/good in a bad 5 or deep 3. He never seemed to get a real run at Leicester - and in a side all over the place/got relegated in the end. He coped well against Argentina and in the cup games for us. Big, ball playing centre halves are few and far between. Coming back to Bae being worth 20m - I've not seen many players as technically gifted in the Champ. But then again I've just seen Summerville only went for £25m.. |
