I've made my thoughts clear on the new layout outside - I think it's asking for trouble and it will need reviewing, and I fully expect the club will look at it. That side of the club is performing right now and they have their fingers on the pulse i'm absolutely certain.
Park all that to one side and speak about their stadium. I visited a few seasons ago when we stuck 4 past them. Fans were stopped from going a certain way out of the ground at the end and the stewards inside were stopping fans from using certain entry points into the stands from the concourse, which in turn was forcing fans to access their seat by walking across rows that were two blocks away. It almost caused a riot as the Stokies burst through the cordon of stewards.
So for those in Sky Blue that are holier than thou about it, it's proof that there are certain foibles at every club's stadium and it's about how you react to any issues and sort them out. To me they come across as a fanbase who have been riding the crest of a wave for quite a while after coming through some pretty torrid times, but they also come across like they are starting to believe their own hype. I kind of get it but don't.
Been there, seen it, done it and got the fetid t-shirt. It doesn't end well.

Never been to Coventry - thought it was absolutely disgraceful they were charging Ā£38 for away tickets last season - but the conclusion from this thread seems to be both stadiums are awfully situated.
So all the point scoring from both sides seems like a huge waste of time.

They are a really strange bunch. They just spend their entire time trying to force a rivalry with every club because nobody cares enough about them. They are just "there" Coventry to everyone in Britain is 1. The place Keeping Up Appearances was filmed. 2. And when you go past Rugby on the train to London everyone seems to class that as sort of the unofficial half way point to London and someone asks where the hell Rugby is and the reply is "near Coventry" They are known for absolutely nothing else. Some bird who took her clothes off a century or few ago Two Tone was pretty awesome to be fair |

Having lived in (a nicer part) of Cov for 2-3 years before, overall it is undoubtedly worse than Stoke
