Remember seeing him coming on and scoring on the League Cup against Saints last year. Looked the real deal. Was a sub in the LC Final, already made his full international debut and the scousers just gave him a new contract I could be wrong but this could be the deal of the season. You'll be wrong - he's 18 and will be subject to batterings week in week out.

Waste if a loan. Unless he shows up like Shawcross did at 18. So like any signing? Waste unless they are good? Thanks for the insight.

Is he good enough to come straight into our first team and make a positive impact? If so, great. If not, then why are we incubating a young player for the long term benefit of another club? I guess it's a bit of the unknown really. It's a risk but we'll have seen him play. People want Tezgel and Sidibie to start and they are younger. I heard he is a good player but there are a couple of Wayne's Rooneys and a lot of Ravel Morrisons in the football World. Yeah letβs wait and see I suppose. Personally, I see the loans as an opportunity to sprinkle some premier league quality into the squad. I just donβt see the point in putting an on loan youngster into the team unless we get a clear short term benefit.

I'm calling it now, if he's useless it's too soon, he's too young and lightweight, waste of a loan If he's good, then why didn't we sign him permanently, we need more of these Bet the club feels like it can't win sometimes

I think you will find his head has been photo shopped onto a body of a Stoke shirt. Why did they use a picture of him being told his dog just died then?

If he's good enough he'll flourish here. & let's not forget, Liverpool seem to have a better record of producing younger players than clubs like Man City & Chelsea for eg who simply mass produce and ship out when know they'll unlikely cut the mustard. They're both renowned for letting quality players slip through their hands coz they have such a plethora to pick from! Liverpool youth set up tends to produce players in the mold of their first team set up & have aspirations they'll make it there. Klopp clearly saw the potential & talent In Koumas, I'm quietly confident he'll turn out to be a fox in the box for us.

I asked a Norwegian Lpool fan who follows Lpool closely and he says this is a player that hasn't stood out in the youth games he has watched. Anyway, he also says Koumas is very direct in his tyle of play, but from what he says I get the impression Koumas hardly is a player for the first 11 yet.

The announcement from the club tells you everything you need to know at the minute. There is seemingly mass panic behind the scenes as we try our best to fuck up another transfer window. Good luck, Lewis. You'll need it. Or he didnβt sign until late yesterday and therefore they didnβt have time for photoβs, videos etc.? Some times there might just be a practical reason and not a conspiracy!

Some of the worst tackles i've seen have been at that level. Plus he has been in multiple first team squads at Liverpool so that means he would have trained with the first team squad many many times. It's not like he is a young lad getting chucked in the deep end

Never known such a negative bunch in my life. If we sign somebody theyβre shit, if we miss out on somebody the clubs falling apart.
Lets see what theyβre like before we start slagging everybody off.

Undoubtedly an exciting signing. Young lad though. First proper foray into "mens" football. Will probably need a bit of time and patience. Whether he gets that or not from our lot..... Got a good feeling about this one π€π€π€ i agree with Bayern on this , a loan player should hit the ground running , we canβt afford develop other teams players when we have young players of our own that need it more , saying that Koumas from what i hear is quality so should be able slot straight in
